Gays are 1 in 50, not 1 in 4
According to a 2011 Gallup poll, Americans thought that 25 percent of
the population was gay (meaning one in every four people), while those
aged 18-29 put the figure at closer to 30 percent (meaning almost one in
every three people). The reality is that less than 2 percent of the
population is gay.
