PETITION - DEMAND THAT HARRY REID STOP STONEWALLING S 209

Dear Conservatives,

Harry Reid is stonewalling a vote on my Audit the Fed Bill (S. 209) to try and protect vulnerable Democrats up for re-election in November.

Our best chance to force a vote is turn up the heat on the Senate to reject President Obama's nominees to the Federal Reserve System until a vote is scheduled on this vital legislation.

A final confirmation vote on Stanley Fischer to be Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and Lael Brainard and Jerome H. Powell to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors could come as soon as Thursday.

But I need your immediate action to urge my colleagues to turn back these nominees until Harry Reid agrees to hold a vote on Audit the Fed.


You see, I'm not going to let Harry Reid and the Democrats off the hook that easily.

The American people have a right to know how the Fed has been manipulating the nation's money supply.

The Fed doesn't need secrecy, it needs an audit.

So I'm issuing an emergency call for fax petitions to swamp the Senate.
