Protestors Take Stand Against American Flag Ban

Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, CA was in the news again as protestors sought to remind people that free speech is a basic American right. The school has banned the wearing of American flag t-shirts on the Mexican holiday of Cinco de Mayo, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals agreed with the ridiculous action.

Future of 2nd Amendment uncertain, says pro-gun advocate

An advocate for the 2nd Amendment says it's unfortunate that the U.S. Supreme Court has refused to hear a case over whether Americans have a constitutional right to be armed in public.

Moral Bankruptcy

If you want to get some idea of the moral bankruptcy of our educational system, read an article in the May 4th issue of the New York Times Magazine titled, "The Tale of Two Schools." The article is not about moral bankruptcy. But it is itself an example of the moral bankruptcy behind the many failures of American education today.
