did not really believe Supreme Court nominee Sonya Sotomayor when she
dismissed her racist “wise Latina” comment as a mere “rhetorical
flourish that fell flat,” so we are hardly shocked when Justice
Sotomayor used her position to speak ex cathedra in favor of racial
