"The BLM wants to take back 80,000 acres of oil and gas leases, some of
which have active wells on them. They are attempting to tighten the
stranglehold on the Energy Industry. If we don't show up and fight back
this Thursday, one more nail may be drilled into the coffin containing our economy recovery.
They
have had 3 hearings so far, all of them in tree hugger country: Aspen,
Carbondale and Glenwood Springs. You can guess what fair
representation we have had.
At 2:30 there will be a press conference/round table rolling into an event/meeting from 4 - 7 pm."
