RENO RAPE SURVIVOR SLAMS HUTCHISON FOR
WUSSING OUT ON
CAMPUS CARRY BILL
Reno rape survivor Amanda
Collins has signed a blistering fundraising letter for conservative
Republican lieutenant governor candidate Sue
Lowden, slamming Lowden’s moderate GOP opponent, Sen. Mark Hutchison, for refusing to co-sponsor a “campus carry” bill in
the 2013 legislative session.
That bill was co-sponsored by every Republican member of the
Assembly and all but three other moderate Republicans in the Senate.
In a published interview conducted by Douglas County
Republican Party that was published just a day or two before Collins’ letter hit
the mail, Hutchison declared that “If there was a law that was presented for ‘campus
carry’ I would support that law.”
However, when presented with just that opportunity last
session, Hutchison refused.
Oh, and, um…there’s photo evidence!
