Dear Conservatives,
Recently we’ve seen what kind of shenanigans Obama’s stooges will pull . . .
Setting up barricades so WWII veterans cannot access memorials in Washington, DC.
Blocking roads so Americans can’t catch a glimpse of Mount Rushmore.
Targeting conservative groups using the IRS. Covering-up scandals like Benghazi.
The Obama administration will do anything to prevent the truth about their scandals from coming out.
Now, Eric Holder is blocking an ATF whistleblower from publishing a book about the ATF’s Fast and Furious gun-running scandal.
By blocking the publishing of a book -- written by whistle-blower ATF Special Agent John Dodson -- Holder continues his efforts to stone wall the American people from getting to the bottom of Fast and Furious.
As you may remember, Dodson was the first ATF agent to blow the whistle on Fast and Furious in 2011, recounting how his supervisors looked the other way while bloodthirsty Mexican drug gangs funneled arms across the border resulting in the death of Border Patrol Agent, Brian Terry.
Instead of allowing this book to be published, Holder and the ATF have so far rejected it, saying it may “hurt morale” within the agency.
This isn’t the first time Holder has worked to prevent whistle-blowers from speaking publicly.
In recent months, it’s been revealed that Holder targeted reporters and even their family members with wiretapping for daring to criticize the Obama administration.
And he’s refused to turn over thousands of government documents related to the scandal.
To make matters worse, instead of nominating someone to head the ATF to get to the bottom of the scandal, Holder backed Obama’s hand-picked nominee, B. Todd Jones, to head the post.
But Jones hasn’t cleaned house at the ATF at all since his arrival in 2011. He’s done just the opposite, including:
*** Stonewalled Congressional inquiries into the scandal, failed to
FIRE all individuals involved and made no substantive changes
within the ATF to make sure scandals like Fast and Furious don’t happen
again;
*** Refused to commend Fast and Furious whistle-blowers despite
their being cleared of wrongdoing by Congressional investigators;
*** Kenneth Melson, the former acting director of the ATF, was
given a special
waiver so that he could take a lucrative job with J.P. Morgan, all the
while keeping his ATF job in order to receive a higher government
pension;
***
Been caught on tape threatening whistle-blowers who dare to speak with
reporters or Congress about the Fast and Furious scandal.
Your pressure on Congressmen and Senators for the last number
of years has forced Holder to reveal far more than he ever wanted to
about
this scandal. But as evidenced by his latest road block, there’s still more that Holder and the ATF don’t want the American people to know about this deadly scandal.
I’ll be sure to keep you updated on all the latest developments related to Fast and Furious.
When your action is needed -- to make a call or send an email -- please do so.
