Parental rights are under siege in our nation. A highly orchestrated attack by pro-homosexual radicals aims to seize power over American families through their children.
Tomorrow,
I will enter a federal court in Trenton, New Jersey, to begin Liberty
Counsel’s legal battle to protect parental rights against a draconian
law passed by New Jersey state legislators who caved in to
pro-homosexual zealots.
This
case and another one at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San
Francisco, also dealing with “change therapy,” are being litigated by
Liberty Counsel to curtail the ever increasing, overreaching power of
Big Brother government while restoring our individual rights.
The
outcomes of these cases will likely have historic impact on the future
of our nation, our families, and our personal rights as American

Conservatives,
The ever expanding State says it knows better how to raise our children and mold their characters than their parents do.
Tomorrow,
our battle on behalf of the rights of parents, children, and counselors
takes place in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
This
fight already extends from New Jersey to California and will eventually
include many other states that are considering the passage of “Change
Therapy” Laws.
In
August, we filed a lawsuit in federal court to stop a New Jersey law –
signed by Republican Governor Chris Christie – banning “Change Therapy”
to overcome same-sex attraction, behavior, or identification.
This outrageous law puts parents, their children, and professional counselors on the wrong side of the law.

The
homosexual lawmaker who sponsored the New Jersey law likens “Change
Therapy” to child abuse! He further says that a family providing such
therapy would empower the nanny state to remove children from their
homes!
This
new law forces acceptance of the view that same-sex attractions are
good – and that any attempt to reduce or eliminate them is bad.
The
new law requires minors to receive, and counselors to provide, only one
view on same-sex attractions…even when the client does not want to act
on those attractions!
Please

++Liberty Counsel has been on the forefront of fighting the notorious “Change Therapy” laws.
We
recently filed a petition with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals,
asking the court to rehear Liberty Counsel’s case against that state’s
“change therapy” ban, this time with the entire Ninth Circuit hearing
the appeal in lieu of a three-judge panel.
Our
conflict with California’s and New Jersey’s “Change Therapy” laws goes
much deeper than fighting the intrusion of the State into private
counseling sessions.
Such
laws trump the rights of parents to provide counseling for their
children if Big Brother disapproves, a dangerous further step toward the
removal of parents from important decisions impacting their children’s
lives.
Legislators
and judges in California and New Jersey have essentially barged into
the private therapy rooms of victimized young people and told them that
their confusion – even if it is caused by the likes of a Jerry Sandusky
abuser – is normal!
Worse
yet, these overreaching laws support only the view that minors should
pursue their unwanted and dangerous same-sex sexual attractions and
behaviors, regardless of whether those minors desire their religious
beliefs to trump these unwanted attractions.
The
laws banning change therapy, which were passed with no scientific
justification in response to California’s powerful pro-homosexual lobby,
are an astounding overreach by the State!
These outrageous laws must be STOPPED.

++Our ObamaCare case is now before the Supreme Court.
As
you are probably aware, Liberty Counsel filed a petition with the U.S.
Supreme Court to review the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals’ decision in
our case against ObamaCare case, Liberty University v. Lew. Liberty Counsel’s challenge to ObamaCare is the most comprehensive case pending in the judicial system.
I believe our lawsuit against ObamaCare is America’s best hope to strike down this outrageous law once and for all.
I’ve never encountered such fierceness to defend a government
program. The Department of Justice has repeatedly changed its arguments
throughout this litigation. It is a sad day when you can no longer
trust the nation’s highest law enforcement agency.
The
Obama administration and other statists are determined to force
government-controlled healthcare on every American no matter how many
compelling facts are against them. They are even willing to destroy our
economy to have their way!
Already,
we are seeing signs that the “horror stories” predicted about Obamacare
are coming true. Its reality is far worse than we could have imagined!
Attacks
on religious freedom because of ObamaCare are increasing in both
frequency and intensity. Employers are being force to provide
abortion-inducing drugs and devices free of charge. Hospitals, doctors,
and nurses are not being exempted from performing abortions on
religious grounds.
Once ObamaCare is fully in place, it will firmly wrap the tentacles of Big Brother government around each and every one of us.
