1. How John Boehner and Mitch McConnell are Funding Obamacare
Don’t be
fooled by this political theater going on in Washington, DC. The fix is
in and both sides are trying to fund ObamaCare while saving face.
The
whole of House Republican Leadership thinks you are stupid. They have
passed a bill that they know will be changed by Harry Reid before it
goes back to the House in a few days. The smoking gun will happen when
Boehner allows a Senate passed government funding measure to come up in
the House minus the provision defunding ObamaCare. You wait and see.
Also, know that Senate Republican Leader
Mitch McConnell is in on this too. He is going to stand with Senators
Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Mike Lee (R-Utah) to save his Senate seat, but he
knows that he has the power to stop this scheme. . . . please click here for the rest of the post →
2. Fighting Democrats With One Arm Tied and a Knife in Our Backs
Here are some inviolable facts:
- Obamacare is ubiquitously unpopular
- Obamacare will become entrenched once it is implemented like every other entitlement of the past century
- Kathleen Sibelius already admitted that Obamacare would be devastated by the House defund bill. That is the only plan to actually uproot the law “root and branch.”
- Republicans control the House, the branch of government that must commence the process on any spending bill. Republicans have a filibuster-enabling minority in the Senate to ensure that the House defund bill is the only budget bill that can pass one house of Congress.
- Harry Reid and the Democrats would be on the wrong side of public opinion for pushing a government shutdown for the purpose of throwing people of their health insurance. . . . please click here for the rest of the post →
3. H.S. Football Games Moved for ‘Environmental’ Reasons. Wait, what?
Tulsa Public Schools administrators moved the
venue for two high schools’ future home football games. It’s for the
children, after all. . . . please click here for the rest of the post →
4. Tom DeLay’s Exoneration And Democrat Abuse Of The Judicial Process
Sliding
under the radar on Thursday was the announcement that former House
Majority Leader Tom DeLay had been exonerated of all charges stemming
from the politically motivated prosecution orchestrated by Democrat
shill and former Travis County (TX) district attorney Ronnie Earle.
That’s
right. Exonerated. The Texas Court of Appeals ruled that not only was
the evidence presented not sufficient to sustain a conviction but that
no law had even been broken. So after nearly a decade since the original
indictment, Tom DeLay is a free man though he is deeply in debt from
the protracted litigation and his political career lies in ruins. . . . please click here for the rest of the post →
5. Soft Bigotry Of Low Expectations: Assault Rifle Edition
While
the nation is focused on the massacre of twelve U.S. government
employees at the Washington Navy Yard and endless billions of pixels are
expended in psychoanalyzing the gunman, the adequacy of security
procedures, and which slow, lingering death gun rights supporters and
their families should suffer, thirteen people were shot in a single
attack on a basketball court in Chicago. . . . please click here for the rest of the post →
