The
world is watching to see how the Syrian crisis will unfold as we
approach the one-year anniversary of the terrorist strikes on our
Benghazi facility that killed four Americans and, of course, the twelfth
anniversary of the infamous 9/11 terrorist attacks on America.
The
Obama administration, which overtly lied to the American people about
Benghazi, now wants us to believe they are telling us the truth about
Syria!
We
are once again taking our case to Congress for a complete investigation
into the Benghazi attacks by a Special Committee, which may also reveal
answers on what is actually happening in Syria.

Conservatives,
There
is a huge credibility issue in believing anything the Obama
administration says regarding who actually used chemical weapons in
Syria.
Our
friend, Congressman Randy Forbes, who represents the Second District of
Virginia, wrote in a Richmond Times-Dispatch article today…
“This
administration faces another reality and it is not related to rhetoric
over red lines or narrowly defined goals or boots-on-the-ground. The
president faces the reality of his paradoxical policies.”
Today
there are still far more questions about the Benghazi attacks than
answers – including credible allegations that the Benghazi attacks were
centered on arms shipments to Syrian rebels. These are the same rebels
who are now also accused by several world leaders of being the
assailants in the chemical assaults.
One
year ago, Susan Rice, then the Ambassador to the United Nations,
repeatedly told the American people that the Benghazi attacks were the
result of a spontaneous demonstration against an anti-Muslim video.
How
is Susan Rice to be believed when she will once again steadfastly
espouse the administration’s talking points as she did one year ago in
deceiving the American people?
House Intelligence Chairman Mike Rogers said,
“They're
sending up Susan Rice to brief Congress on the one year anniversary of
Benghazi. And they're trying to win votes. I mean the credibility gap
there is huge.”
Meanwhile,
Secretary of State John Kerry is calling on Syria to turn their
chemical weapons over to international authorities in one week. But he
refuses to elaborate on what would happen if Syrian leaders fail to
comply.
And
President Obama asserts that he has incontrovertible evidence that the
Assad regime loosed chemical weapons on his own people but won’t release
the nature of that evidence.
How can the American people have any confidence whatsoever in this administration’s actions in the Middle East?
++Catastrophic crash of American credibility underway.
Terms
like “bumbling,” “ inept,” “deceptive,” “amateurish,” and “incoherent”
are a few of the most commonly used adjectives in reference to President
Obama’s handling of this looming Middle East crisis and his failed
foreign policies.
Respected foreign observer Conrad Blank recently said…
“Not
since the disintegration of the Soviet Union in 1991, and before that
the fall of France in 1940, has there been so swift an erosion of the
world influence of a Great Power as we are witnessing with the United
States.”
Tragically,
through the Obama administration’s ineptitude, America is becoming a
laughingstock on the world scene. Now, we can expect continuing severe
tests of our resolve from Russia, Iran, North Korea, and other despotic
nations that sense the weakness in Washington, DC.
++Benghazi and Syria are most assuredly linked.
Last October, Fox news reported…
“A
mysterious Libyan ship – reportedly carrying weapons and bound for
Syrian rebels – may have some link to the Sept. 11 terror attack on the
U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Fox News has learned.”
Since
then, widespread reports are suggesting that a stealth “missile running
operation” run by the U.S. government and involving Libya and Syria may
be at the core of the Benghazi debacle.
Meanwhile,
our government has suppressed the testimonies of key witnesses who
could reveal the truth about the terrorist assault.
Again,
the Obama administration has lied to the American people throughout the
course of the Benghazi scandal – and now they expect us to believe them
in the truth about Syria!
++Calls for a Special Committee are increasing.
Senator
Lindsey Graham declared that al Qaeda is ‘on steroids’ since the
Benghazi attack – and they feel they have the U.S. on the run.
Former
Representative Allen West is calling on Congress to appoint a Special
Committee, similar to the one being called for by Congressman Frank
Wolf, to investigate the terrorist attacks in Benghazi.

President
Obama and his administration have deliberately stonewalled Americans
and have clearly misrepresented what was transpiring in Benghazi. Now
they want us to believe their “talking points” on Syria and that
Benghazi is a “phony scandal.”
We
must keep constant pressure on the Obama administration and Congress,
or Benghazi will fade away, even though it is the biggest, highest level
cover-up in American history!
