Father of teen arrested in beating death: 'Kenan's a good kid'
The
father of one of the teens implicated in last week's beating death of a
decorated World War II veteran thanked God for his son's peaceful
capture, saying the family had met with Spokane police and prayed for
his safety. "Kenan's a good kid," the father added, calling Belton's
death a "tragedy."

Democrat: Congress should have a say in whether U.S. strikes Syria
U.S.
Rep. Alcee Hastings, D-Miramar, said he's learned more about potential
military action in Syria from TV than from the White House and he's not
happy about it. "If Chuck Todd can tell me this morning on MSNBC that
action is going to be taken Thursday and I'm in the U.S. Congress and no
one has consulted me, something is wrong with that picture," Hastings
said Tuesday.
