CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS’ ON-AIR IMPLOSION NOW POSTED
The final 12-minute segment of Alan Stock’s 90-minute
interview with Clark County GOP chairman candidate Dave “Captain Underpants” McKeon to discuss domestic violence
allegations made by his ex-wife in court documents is where McKeon lost
it.
And if you missed it live, you can now listen to that
segment by clicking
here
As you’ll hear, it all started innocently enough, with some
goofball calling in to compliment McKeon on coming on the show and taking
questions. The caller then made this
asinine statement:
“I think, Alan, him being on your show was a complete set-up.”
Say what?!!
Alan invited Dave to come on the show to answer questions
about the domestic violence accusations.
Dave agreed. There were no “gotcha”
questions. The show was about the
domestic violence allegations and that’s exactly what was discussed.
So this guy who called in was an idiot.
But he then doubled down on his stupidity by calling Alan a “Ron Paul person.”
Clearly this moron has never listened to Stock’s show! Stock has never been and never will be a fan
of Ron Paul for a host of reasons; reasons he’s articulated quite often on his
show.
So Stock shut this dumbass down by telling him he was making
a fool out of himself with his “asinine, stupid, idiotic” statements.
And then the fun REALLY began.
Stock finished ripping the caller a new one, gave out the
call-in number again and then said…
“By the way, this is not a setup. Do you feel this was a setup, Dave McKeon?"
A couple second pause, then…
McKeon: “Yes.”
Stock, incredulously: “You think it WAS a setup?”
McKeon: “Yes.”
Stock: “How so?”
McKeon: “You and Chuck are tied at the hip.”
Stock: “Chuck and I are tied at the hip, so it was a setup?”
McKeon: “Yeah.”
It then went WAY downhill REAL fast from there…
…with McKeon tortuously defending his claim that Stock had
set him up by whining about something to do with not getting advance clearance
from Bahama Breeze for his people to videotape the debate that KDWN and Citizen
Outreach co-sponsored there at our First Friday Happy Hour a couple weeks ago.
What any of that has to do with the price of tea in China,
only McKeon’s delusional, warped mind knows.
The fact is, McKeon’s people WERE allowed to tape the
debate…and the questions during the debate were asked by me, a supporter of
incumbent Chairwoman Cindy Lake, and
Dan Burdish, a McKeon supporter…which
was agreed to by both candidates well before the debate.
Dan and I were fair and objective and asked questions that
were free of bias – as the McKeon videotape will prove.
And for his part, Stock merely moderated the debate and
asked no questions.
So how did Stock’s failure to request permission to
videotape the debate in advance – permission which was ultimately granted in
any event – equate to setting up Captain Underpants on Monday’s radio program
in which all the questions were related to the topic McKeon was invited on to
address, agreed to address and voluntarily showed up to address?
(Cue the Twilight Zone
music…)
And this guy wants to be Clark County Republican Party
chairman?
A guy who rarely answers a direct question with a direct
answer and talks out of both sides of his mealy mouth?
Whose word is as good as Sen. Michael Roberson’s tax pledge?
Whose paranoia – “They’re all out to get me! And then there were the strawberries…”
-
apparently runs at least as deep as some of the more loony-toons in the Ron
Paul movement itself!
Yes, some anti-Lake Republicans will support this guy to
their dying breath no matter what a socio-pathetic schmuck he turns out to be. They hate Lake that much and…in for a penny;
in for a pound.
But
if they prevail on July 17, it’ll only be a matter of
time before this guy has a real embarrassing public meltdown – like how
he angrily commanded a member of the debate audience at First Friday to
“Shut up!”
Yes, he actually did that.
It’s on his own videotape (if they haven’t edited it out).
This guy clearly has anger management problems.
And he sure as hell doesn’t take criticism very well.
More to come, but in the meantime…
Stock will respond further to McKeon’s asinine accusations in
full tomorrow morning (Tuesday) at 6:30 a.m. on his show on KDWN 720 AM
(www.kdwn.com).
And since he had Dave on by himself today, he’s invited Lake
to come in by herself tomorrow. She’s
scheduled to come on at 7:05 a.m.
This is not going to end well for Captain Underpants.
And that’s just dealing with Alan. Me? I’m
just getting warmed up…
