Becoming What We Seek to Destroy
by Chris Hedges

The bodies of dozens, perhaps well over a hundred, women, children and men, their corpses blown into bits of human flesh by iron fragmentation bombs dropped by U.S. warplanes in a village in the western province of Farah, illustrates the futility of the Afghan war. We are not delivering democracy or liberation or development. We are delivering massive, sophisticated forms of industrial slaughter. And because we have employed the blunt and horrible instrument of war in a land we know little about and are incapable of reading, we embody the barbarism we claim to be seeking to defeat.

We are morally no different from the psychopaths within the Taliban, who Afghans remember we empowered, funded and armed during the 10-year war with the Soviet Union. Acid thrown a girl's face or beheadings? Death delivered from the air or fields of shiny cluster bombs? This is the language of war. It is what we speak. It is what those we fight speak.

Afghan survivors carted some two dozen corpses from their villages to the provincial capital in trucks this week to publicly denounce the carnage. Some 2,000 angry Afghans in the streets of the capital chanted "Death to America!" But the grief, fear and finally rage of the bereaved do not touch those who use high-minded virtues to justify slaughter. The death of innocents, they assure us, is the tragic cost of war. It is regrettable, but it happens. It is the price that must be paid. And so, guided by a president who once again has no experience of war and defers to the bull-necked generals and militarists whose careers, power and profits depend on expanded war, we are transformed into monsters.

There will soon be 21,000 additional U.S. soldiers and Marines in Afghanistan in time for the expected surge in summer fighting. There will be more clashes, more airstrikes, more deaths and more despair and anger from those forced to bury their parents, sisters, brothers and children. The grim report of the killings in the airstrike, issued by the International Committee of the Red Cross, which stated that bombs hit civilian houses and noted that an ICRC counterpart in the Red Crescent was among the dead, will become familiar reading in the weeks and months ahead.

We are the best recruiting weapon the Taliban possesses. We have enabled it to rise from the ashes seven years ago to openly control over half the country and carry out daylight attacks in the capital Kabul. And the war we wage is being exported like a virus to Pakistan in the form of drones that bomb Pakistani villages and increased clashes between the inept Pakistani military and a restive internal insurgency.

I spoke in New York City a few days ago with Dr. Juliette Fournot, who lived with her parents in Afghanistan as a teenager, speaks Dari and led teams of French doctors and nurses from Médecins Sans Frontières, or Doctors Without Borders, into Afghanistan during the war with the Soviets. She participated in the opening of clandestine cross-border medical operations missions between 1980 and 1982 and became head of the French humanitarian mission in Afghanistan in 1983. Dr. Fournot established logistical bases in Peshawar and Quetta and organized the dozen cross-border and clandestine permanent missions in the resistance-held areas of Herat, Mazar-i-Sharif, Badakhshan, Paktia, Ghazni and Hazaradjat, through which more than 500 international aid workers rotated.

She is one of the featured characters in a remarkable book called "The Photographer," produced by photojournalist Didier Lefèvre and graphic novelist Emmanuel Guibert. The book tells the story of a three-month mission in 1986 into Afghanistan led by Dr. Fournot. It is an unflinching look at the cost of war, what bombs, shells and bullets do to human souls and bodies. It exposes, in a way the rhetoric of our politicians and generals do not, the blind destructive fury of war. The French humanitarian group withdrew from Afghanistan in July 2004 after five of its aid workers were assassinated in a clearly marked vehicle.

"The American ground troops are midterm in a history that started roughly in 1984 and 1985 when the State Department decided to assist the Mujahedeen, the resistance fighters, through various programs and military aid. USAID, the humanitarian arm serving political and military purposes, was the seed for having a different kind of interaction with the Afghans," she told me. "The Afghans were very grateful to receive arms and military equipment from the Americans."

"But the way USAID distributed its humanitarian assistance was very debatable," she went on. "It still puzzles me. They gave most of it to the Islamic groups such as the Hezb-e Islami of [Gulbuddin] Hekmatyar. And I think it is possibly because they were more interested in the future stability of Pakistan rather than saving Afghanistan. Afghanistan was probably a good ground to hit and drain the blood from the Soviet Union. I did not see a plan to rebuild or bring peace to Afghanistan. It seemed that Afghanistan was a tool to weaken the Soviet Union. It was mostly left to the Pakistani intelligence services to decide what would be best and how to do it and how by doing so they could strengthen themselves."

The Pakistanis, Dr. Fournot said, developed a close relationship with Saudi Arabia. The Saudis, like the Americans, flooded the country with money and also exported conservative and often radical Wahhabi clerics. The Americans, aware of the relationship with the Saudis as well as Pakistan's secret program to build nuclear weapons, looked the other way. Washington sowed, unwittingly, the seeds of destruction in Afghanistan and Pakistan. It trained, armed and empowered the militants who now kill them.

The relationship, she said, bewildered most Afghans, who did not look favorably upon this radical form of Islam. Most Afghans, she said, wondered why American aid went almost exclusively to the Islamic radicals and not to more moderate and secular resistance movements.

"The population wondered why they did not have more credibility with the Americans," she said. "They could not understand why the aid was stopped in Pakistan and distributed to political parties that had limited reach in Afghanistan. These parties stockpiled arms and started fighting each other. What the people got in the provinces was miniscule and irrelevant. And how did the people see all this? They had great hopes in the beginning and gradually became disappointed, bitter and then felt betrayed. This laid the groundwork for the current suspicion, distrust and disappointment with the U.S. and NATO."

Dr. Fournot sees the American project in Afghanistan as mirroring that of the doomed Soviet occupation that began in December 1979. A beleaguered Afghan population, brutalized by chaos and violence, desperately hoped for stability and peace. The Soviets, like the Americans, spoke of equality, economic prosperity, development, education, women's rights and political freedom. But within two years, the ugly face of Soviet domination had unmasked the flowery rhetoric. The Afghans launched their insurgency to drive the Soviets out of the country.

Dr. Fournot fears that years of war have shattered the concept of nationhood. "There is so much personal and mental destruction," she said. "Over 70 percent of the population has never known anything else but war. Kids do not go to school. War is normality. It gives that adrenaline rush that provides a momentary sense of high, and that is what they live on. And how can you build a nation on that?"

The Pashtuns, she noted, have built an alliance with the Taliban to restore Pashtun power that was lost in the 2001 invasion. The border between Pakistan and Afghanistan is, to the Pashtuns, a meaningless demarcation that was drawn by imperial powers through the middle of their tribal lands. There are 13 million Pashtuns in Afghanistan and another 28 million in Pakistan. The Pashtuns are fighting forces in Islamabad and Kabul they see as seeking to wrest from them their honor and autonomy. They see little difference between the Pakistani military, American troops and the Afghan army.

Islamabad, while it may battle Taliban forces in Swat or the provinces, does not regard the Taliban as a mortal enemy. The enemy is and has always been India. The balance of power with India requires the Pakistani authorities to ensure that any Afghan government is allied with it. This means it cannot push the Pashtuns in the Northwest Frontier Province or in Afghanistan too far. It must keep its channels open. The cat-and-mouse game between the Pakistani authorities and the Pashtuns, which drives Washington to fury, will never end. Islamabad needs the Pashtuns in Pakistan and Afghanistan more than the Pashtuns need them.

The U.S. fuels the bonfires of war. The more troops we send to Afghanistan, the more drones we send on bombing runs over Pakistan, the more airstrikes we carry out, the worse the unraveling will become. We have killed twice as many civilians as the Taliban this year and that number is sure to rise in the coming months.

"I find this term ‘collateral damage' dehumanizing," Dr. Fournot said, "as if it is a necessity. People are sacrificed on the altar of an idea. Air power is blind. I know this from having been caught in numerous bombings."

We are faced with two stark choices. We can withdraw and open negotiations with the Taliban or continue to expand the war until we are driven out. The corrupt and unpopular regimes of Hamid Karzai in Afghanistan and Asif Ali Zardari are impotent allies. The longer they remain tethered to the United States, the weaker they become. And the weaker they become, the louder become the calls for intervention in Pakistan. During the war in Vietnam, we invaded Cambodia to bring stability to the region and cut off rebel sanctuaries and supply routes. This tactic only empowered the Khmer Rouge. We seem poised, in much the same way, to do the same for radical Islamists in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

"If the Americans step up the war in Afghanistan, they will be sucked into Pakistan," Dr. Fournot warned. "Pakistan is a time bomb waiting to explode. You have a huge population, 170 million people. There is nuclear power. Pakistan is much more dangerous than Afghanistan. War always has its own logic. Once you set foot in war, you do not control it. It sucks you in."

You cannot stop fighting, this is how I felt ...
Are You One?

ARE YOU ONE OF THE FEW
CAN WE COUNT ON YOU

When it became clear that your country was in trouble.  You observed overt premeditated attacks on your countries Constitution, Freedom, Liberty, Justice, even Morality and God.  Disbelief was likely your first response.  Disbelief exploded into confusion because the force behind the attacks was your own elected representatives.  You fought your initial response believing that you must be missing something, that there was a bigger picture you just didn't understand. Then all confusion and disbelief evolved into a reality too treacherous to comprehend.  The enemy of all you ever believed and cared about, all that mattered to you and loved was your government.  You started trying to get others to listen, they wouldn't.  Then you decided if I walk away, if I say "oh well I tried" if stick my head in the sand like those around me..........if not me, who.........if not now it will be too late.  You cannot stop fighting, this is how I felt.................................

Sometimes you come to a point where it takes all your strength just to keep from lashing out.  Those times when the lies the insults and the threats seem endless.  Often it feels like you are on your own.  You've spent large amounts of your own money which you couldn't afford to spend.  Days come and go with little sleep, there just isn't time for rest, your mission is simply too important.  You dare not turn your attention to most of those around you, it would make everything you've done seem like a waste of time.  You focus your attention on the ones who have gone before you.  They too must have had the same feelings, at times hopelessness, despair, rage and loneliness.   If you measured your numbers by the spoken word you would believe you were a part of a massive army.  However the utterances you hear, though high in volume, are void of commitment or passion.  It's in the actions your numbers are revealed, and they are few.  They may be few in number but their courage and valor makes them great.

Do not be betrayed by the noise of those who say they will, measure your strength by those who act among you.  Remember actions speak louder than words.  I tell you this because many of you who risk all for the right to be free must feel as discouraged as I do at times.  I understand the task we are facing and I know that if we give up there will be no one behind us who will take our swords and carry on.  You who have accepted the challenge you are the front line there are no reinforcements, we must win for all.   There isn't time to waste trying to get those who say, "I don't have time to get involved" or "I would really like to help, maybe after soccer season" or " gee I was going to but American Idol is on tonight."  What they are really saying is, "I'm comfortable don't disturb me with saving freedom, that stuff is for the crazy people."  Yes I know just how maddening it can be.  So many tough guys around me talk a big game and do absolutely nothing.  Many of them are cowards and won't even sign a petition.  Wouldn't you really hate to live like that.

For the rest of you not willing to do your part.
What I am telling you is, if you are one of those (whiners) and want to save our country, your rights and Freedom, then it is up to you.
If you are looking for someone to save your home, America, then get off your butt and go look in a mirror.
The person you see there has as much responsibility for that as anyone else.

Note:  I sincerely hope when true Americans finally remove Barak and his criminal associates from the offices they now
illegally hold, that will not be the end of it.  Obama, most of his administration along with many in Legislature must be held to account
for their violations of the Constitution as well as the laws of our country.  They must be brought to justice, tried and (if) when
convicted, sentenced to a term befitting any common traitor.   We must see to it that this happens to show the world America
belongs to true Americans and like Texas,

YOU DON'T MESS WITH AMERICA.

Letter To General Martin Dempsey, CJCS
posted by Harry Riley
written by Larry W. Reams

General Martin Dempsey
Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff
Joint Staff, Pentagon
Washington, DC 20318-9999

General Dempsey,
I am a combat veteran, a decade ahead of you. I am a Christian, a Constitutionalist and a Patriot. According to the DHS, I am a potential homegrown terrorist. You have had several letters from me already, here is yet another one.

When you and I were sworn in as commissioned officers, we took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic. I do not recall an expiration date in that oath and although I have been out of the service since 1976, I still honor it. Somehow, you have risen to the highest level of authority and responsibility in the Armed Forces and that oath certainly still applies to you.

Your actions over the past few years shows little respect for that oath of office, for the men you "lead," for military readiness, or for the honor your position calls for. You have become a political puppet for one of the worst Commanders In Chief America has ever seen. You have become one of America's "domestic enemies." I am confident you don't follow email traffic and Internet blogs but if you did, you'd realize just how little respect veterans and active duty personnel have for you and those who carry your water bucket. Were it me, I'd be humiliated and embarrassed to the point of resignation.

I'll grant you that the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs is appointed by the President and serves at his discretion. I also know that any General worth his salt would stand up for the military he is supposed to represent and lead, or resign if he cannot do so honorably. To support Barack Obama's deliberate attempts to destroy our military by rolling over, playing dead, and claiming you were just following orders, is reprehensible. By doing so you dishonor the uniform, your position, all those who honorably serve this country, and the millions who have served before you, many of whom gave their all in defense of liberty. We deserve better. Barack Obama has become the laughing-stock of leaders of other nations around the world. They see his weakness in national defense, the weakness of those who surround and advise him, including you, and proceed to take advantage of that weakness to our detriment. The future does not look bright for our Republic. Thanks for your complicity.

General, having four stars does not authenticate respect. Respect must be earned, it's not automatic with promotions. If you think it is, you're a fool. You have lost respect. "Diversity" does not equate to readiness or esprit de corps and good morale of the unit. Taking away Chaplains' rights to honor their own faith in their duty to the troops destroys their mission, nullifies their role, weakens the force. Allowing women in combat roles, especially in the Rangers and SEALS, and I note that you are neither, is about as wise a decision as would be the elimination of the Infantry. No nation on earth, since the beginning of time, including the US, has sought to do that until the wisdom of Obama, Dempsey and Odierno arrived on the scene. "Professing to be wise, proven to be fools." And since the day of General George Washington, homosexuals were not allowed to openly serve side-by-side with straights, for good reason. But the Obama, Dempsey, Odierno wisdom trumps General Washington, 200 years of experience, and God's warnings to allow it in today's military. Pray tell, how does any of this improve readiness?  How does political correctness improve readiness?  For the politicians is all about getting votes. What does it do for Generals?

I note that in Secretary Hagel's recent remarks at the Pentagon Pride ceremony for gays and lesbians, he stated that openly acknowledging the gay community in the military "...makes our military and our nation stronger, much stronger." Care to offer any justification or proof of the Secretary's statement? Stronger in what way? He went on to tout how this now makes us "all created equal," and is "social justice in advancing equality and opportunity for all people." All tripe. But Hagel is a politician, in a suit. You're supposed to be a soldier, in a uniform. Using the military for social engineering is disruptive, expensive - in money and lives - and goes against all common sense, not to mention 200+ years of experience. The consequences of this stupidity will be your legacy, not any good you may have done prior to your Chairmanship.

You have just been reappointed as Chairman. My recommendation is that you decline. Retire from the military, go into hiding somewhere, and allow a more able person, one who will honor his oath of office, to assume the role. If Obama refuses to appoint someone like that, looking for another political puppet instead, America, specifically veterans, will deal with Obama. Should you accept Obama's offer to continue the destructive puppet role of the last few years, you will add insult to injury and further weaken our military. Veterans will petition their Senators to NOT confirm your reappointment. We have ample evidence that better options are available.

Americans – Do we need a new political party?
By Paul E. Vallely, M/Gen., US Army (Ret.) and Charles E. Jones, B/Gen., USAF, (Ret.)

AMERICANS,
If you care about The Constitution, The Republic, Your Safety, National Security, Freedom’s and your children’s future please read about Problem Solving for the many grave crises “We The People” are facing in America right now; today. Then stop and think about what can be accomplished if everyone – “We The People” – band together peacefully and work the solution to preserve this once greatest nation on planet Earth. Everyone needs to take action – get involved – vote – to make the solution happen, especially for our children’s safety and future prosperity.

AMERICANS,
Times have changed and if America and the Constitution are to be preserved, doing so must become every citizen’s first thoughts, actions and responsibility. As such a new “America First” mindset and political thrust will be required from each American, separate yet combined; therefore a few problem-solvers from “STAND UP AMERICA US” have decided it may take a new political party with “America First” mindsets.

We must reverse the course of destruction. The destructive activities affecting our economy, the job killing initiatives, middle class disintegration, National Security and family safety/integrity lapses, along with gun control and amnesty attempts from self-serving, greedy, failed leadership – “destructions” – separately yet combined, now gravely facing “We The (non-elected and non-appointed) People” of America. A probable solution can be a new and dynamic Party, and we want to know if you agree. Therefore we propose some or all of the following and request your input in our survey:

“AMERICANS PARTY”
Singular in name, yet basically requires banding together by We The People in order to preserve The Constitution, the Republic and the freedoms so bequeathed by our maker upon us and recognized by America’s forefathers and mothers, to be protected for all future generations.

We The People must have a government that has foremost in thought and action, the well being of the citizens (sovereigns), their safety and National Security so as to become completely open, totally visible, and without questions. Truth and trust must prevail.

We The People will not be ruled, and self serving, greedy, failed leadership is no longer an option. A deep look being taken by a few legal citizens who care deeply has prompted suggested solutions as outlined below.

If these legitimate key issues don’t get voter attention from both parties I don’t know what would.
Most additional matters and issues are considered wedge issues and belong within the several States.

THIS WILL BECOME THE PLATFORM THAT THE “AMERICANS PARTY” WILL CAMPAIGN ABOUT AND FOR THE NATIONAL GOOD OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WE THE PEOPLE AND CHILDREN FOR AMERICAS FUTURE, PROVIDED THIS SURVEY RESULTS IN WIDE AND TIMELY ENTHUSIASM.

1) The Constitution
The Constitution for the United STATES as originally Established and Amended will remain in absolute and total effect. The Original XIII Amendment as written and ratified is an operational Amendment and will be adhered to immediately. (The Original XIIIth Amendment was falsely hidden by less than honorable self-serving men of the times.) All Laws requiring Executive action will be faithfully executed upon receipt from Congress to and by the President and the appropriate Department’s and Selected Agency’s of Government.

2) The US Military
The United States Military will in no way be used against United States Citizens. To do so will trigger expeditious Congressional or Judicial actions to immediately remove anyone exercising such UN-constitutional order’s from elected or appointed office. A strong Total Force Military Deterrent will be maintained at all times including a Nuclear Capability to win if Deterrence fails. America will not be placed at risk by disarming in any manner.

3) The Congress
It must be understood that Congress shall make all laws necessary for carrying into execution the Powers authorized in the Constitution and that all bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives. Constant Congressional leadership oversight will be maintained at all times.

4) The illegal alien invasion
All Secure Borders, Immigration and Invasion Laws will be executed by the President and the Executive Branch with absolutely no deviations authorized except through laws authorized by Congress.
There will be no money appropriated and authorized for any illegal alien invader except for absolute life threatening emergency room care pending deportation. Anyone hiring illegal aliens for any and all types of work or disbursing federal or state funds of any type will be incarcerated for doing so. (American jobs must be reserved for returning discharged military personal, citizens and part time high-school students and retired elderly).
When US employers cannot locate citizen workers, Immigrant Work Permits will be issued to fill job requirements when fully justified. Also employer Impact Fees will be paid to local school systems and local hospital emergency rooms for every Immigrant Worker employed and accompanied family member.

5) Coin and issue currency
The US Treasury under the laws established by the Congress shall become the only government Department or Agency authorized to coin and or issue currency in accordance with the Constitution.

6) Strong National Defense
A Strong National Defense of trained Active Duty, Guard and Reserve Forces equipped with proper fighting equipment and led with America First Leadership in both the Executive and Legislative Branches of Government will be maintained for protection of “We The People” and the preservation of the Constitution and the Republic.

7) Zero interest National Debt and no income Tax
Zero interest National Debt will be established and maintained and all income tax laws plus the IRS will be abolished. A minimum National Sales Tax Law will be established to meet an annual Budget that can be raised to a maximum of 3 percent annually if justified by a GDP growth of 3 percent annually.
US Treasury Green Back currency will be the only currency (money) recognized and authorized by the United States Government. A limited time period will be established to trade one for one, authentic, Fed Res notes for Greenback treasury notes. (Manufacturing will move back to this country, jobs will quickly rebound, the economy will be greatly stimulated and America will flourish like never before).

8) The Department of Education
The Department of Education will be abolished and educational responsibilities as well as funding will be returned to each respective state, territories and the District of Columbia.

9) The Department of Energy
The Department of Energy will be abolished and some greatly reduced functions will be merged into the Departments of Defense and Interior.

10) FEMA and DHS planning
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be merged into The Department of Homeland Security and the Name will then be changed and become known as The Department of Security and Emergency. (Both functions have grown far beyond the intentions of reasonable and necessary budgeting, manpower, facilities and leadership control). Overall manning will be greatly reduced and all weapons, vehicles and ammunition of a military nature will be immediately transferred to the Dept. of Defense. Facilities that are UN-necessary will be closed and transferred to local governments.

11) Dispersed Departments and Agencies
Several Departments and Agencies will be dispersed (moved) from inside Washington DC into the interior for cost effective and dispersed long term security reasons. More diversified recruiting and hiring of high quality civilian personnel will be put into effect. (Rust-belt areas of high unemployment in the mid-west and other locations of far greater physical expansion capability will be given priority considerations for these moves). Relieving over crowded facilities and parking inside the Wash DC beltway has become a must consideration for this effective movement of Federal Government functions.

12) Perks and other costly US Government benefits
Perks and benefit’s given to many government employees, elected, appointed and civil service will be reviewed and adjusted as necessary in keeping with good management and cost effective practices of a taxpayer paid government. (All limousines for transportation to and from the work place and other such perks provided at great taxpayer expense will be sold and drivers transferred to other appropriate jobs. All taxpayer funded Government travel will be greatly reduced to absolute necessity).

13) Executive Branch Union Support
The Executive order that allows unions to exist and do collective bargaining in any and all tax payer funded government jobs will be rescinded.

14) A Government Corporation
All reference to recognition and or operation of a Government Corporation inside the District of Columbia, so far hidden from the Sovereigns (We The People) will have absolutely no effect nor affect to the workings of The Constitution for the The United States of America, The Three Branches of Fed. Govt., “We The People’s” Sovereignty, their (our) wealth and property nor any matter or issue to coin money and issue treasury currency, or any such matter to the contrary.

15) Governmental/Constitutional Powers
The Power to make Laws and all other Powers vested by the Constitution as ordained and established by “We The People” in The Constitution for the United States for America also has Constitutional limitations and that must be recognized by all Three Branches of Federal Government.
Any signature in making these Laws not in accordance with The Constitution will immediately cause any or all Laws so signed to immediately become null and void.
Any person or persons elected or appointed who have or are now ignoring or dismissing Constitutional responsibilities of responding to the people’s rights for a redress of grievances or to peacefully assemble will be immediately relieved of all duties and responsibilities until their “alleged” unconstitutional actions can be heard and proper response is forthcoming from an already or previously formed Grand Jury.
Indictments will be tried by the appropriate jury. The People must be able to have faith that all Branches of Federal Government are in being for their protection and well being and not have to hope that The United States Military is their only possible defense against tyranny.

16) “A Constitutional Sheriff and Gun Control Policy”
It will be the understanding and policy of this party to recognize each County Sheriff as the Elected Senior Law Enforcement Officer in each respective County and that a well regulated militia, if formed, will be responsive to his Constitutional oath and requirements for the security of a free state. The right of people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed and will be protected by all Three Branches of Government as well as alert County Sheriffs.

17) Education, Kindergarten through Grade 12 for citizen school children
Education is a fundamental right for American citizen school children and a responsibility of county and city taxpayers to insure funding for that right. Citizen school children in far too many public schools have been denied that fundamental right to an education due to handicaps in class room and interference caused by countless non English speaking children plus overcrowding and scarce tax dollars used to accommodate illegal alien school children. Some schools have over 30% illegal alien non English speaking attendance in class rooms and schools in South Western States. Their graduation rate is also far below national standards, with class room grades in the bottom of the 50 state standings.
This total lack of leadership is unfair to American citizen school children and taxpayers. The political illegal alien invasion of the United States is the root socioeconomic crises, cause.
Both Congress lack of effective leadership and the Executive Branch has not taken care that the laws be faithfully executed in dealing with serious national problems has resulted in an influx of uncountable millions of illegal aliens across our borders creating a grave socioeconomic dilemma that has not yet been fully assessed nor adequately addressed by the elected. Why? Because it seems the partisan political branches of government have failed to do so for self serving and greedy political party reasons.
It will be an objective of a New Americans Party if formed to re-visit the 5 to 4 decision by the Burger Supreme Court that allowed all who chose to do so to attend any American public school. Even some who cross daily from Mexico to attend public schools in America? (With great wisdom and common sense Chief Justice Burger wrote the very logical dissenting opinion.)
American school children’s education and very scarce taxpayer dollars should no longer be sacrificed for political party expediency for votes and campaign cash – in a quest for partisan rule of America.

18) PPACA (Obamacare) – The partisan Democrat sponsored Affordable Health Care Plan not yet fully implemented will be repealed completely and pre 2009 Medicare and Medicaid Programs will be fully reconstituted as was originally in effect. There will be no reductions or changes to the existing Social Security System.

19) General Policy; It will be the policy and practice for the AMERICANS PARTY to select and name the following candidates at least two years prior to the next General Election in 2016. This shall effect the following offices:
        President of the United States;
        Vice President of the United States;
        Members for the House of Representatives in each State Congressional District;
Members for the Senate in each State.
The names are to be submitted for each Cabinet and Selected Agency appointment.

This procedure will allow the American people to get to know the Candidates well plus the party policies that will compete for the elected leadership of the Executive and Legislative Branches of Federal Government. It will also give the voting public a reasonable understanding of the type nominations for The Supreme Court of the United States to be made as vacancies occur.

Information; These issues as written above are the foundation, platform and policies of a potential Americans Party that will be placed in effect if and when elected to the Legislative and Executive Branches of Federal Government.

The Stand Up America US Project (SUA) was founded in 2005 by Paul E. This site is meant as a resource for education, based upon the values and principles set forth by our founding fathers. It is our goal to inform, clarify, and speak truth to power. We are a network of patriotic Americans from all walks of life including former members of the military, former federal, state, and local employees of government, analysts, writers, world leaders, and our group extends across the globe.
