As everyone knows by now, Mitt Romney selected Paul Ryan to be his running mate as VP in the presidential election. Romney did this for a reason. Paul Ryan is a seven term Congressman from a heavily democrat district in Wisconsin. Ryan has won his district by as much as 2/3 of the vote from both Democrats and Republicans. He did this by speaking directly to the people and doing so in simple to understand terms. He also chose Ryan because he is considered one of the most intelligent people in Congress by both parties.

Paul Ryan has actually created a budget to get us out of this financial mess and it will do it without raising taxes on anyone and will save the certain bankruptcies of Medicare and Social Security. It will also insure that our senior citizens get the Medicare and Social Security benefits they paid into all their lives as well as save those programs for future generations.
We have supported the Paul Ryan budget plan for many months already. Over 50,000 individual petitions have been sent to Congress by our tea party members in support of the Ryan budget.
