AN ARIZONA COLLEGE PROFESSOR REVEALS OBAMA'S INEPTNESS

Watch, and Let this sink in.
The person in this video is a professor (Ph.D.) at Yavapai College in Prescott , Arizona . He puts a different spin on what Obama is doing to help Arizona
Must be why he's rated highly by his students - 3.8 on a 4.0 scale. This may be the best video produced on the illegal alien problems that are being experienced.

  1. Professor Lovell gives an emotional appeal to realize the "insanity" of the Federal Government suing Arizona's law allowing the prosecution of illegal aliens. However, his analysis is totally devoid of legal arguments. And not fully forthright either. The video is a propaganda piece fraught with misinformation.

First of all, the President does not make law, or enforce it. CONGRESS does. And currently the House in Congress is controlled by Republicans, not Democrats.

The truth is that State of Arizona wants to regulate Federal Law as it sees fit. This precedent would allow all states to regulate all Federal Law as they see fit, which would decimate the power and effect of Federal Law.

Professor Lovell fails to make the distinction between the Federal illegality of not having proper immigration papers and Arizona's desire to make it a criminal offense. There is a big difference between deportation and imprisonment. If Arizona wants to enforce Federal immigration law, it can do so without replacing deportation with imprisonment.

Also, Arizona has no legal jurisdiction on this matter. The U.S. Constitution has given the Federal government all powers over dealing with foreign governments and foreign nationals.

Yes, the Federal Government ought to better enforce its own immigration laws. But the ugly truth is that REPUBLICANS have never enforced immigration laws since Richard Nixon because they want cheap labor.

Consider the huge housing boom during the last decade. Illegal immigrants were flooding into America to build homes. Did then President Bush and the Republican controlled Congress raise a stink? NO WAY. If Arizona wanted to enforce immigration laws during the Bush administration, the Arizona governor at that time would have been excoriated every way possible. Besides lawsuits, Federal funds to Arizona would have been denied, a favorite Republican tactic.

The bad habit of ignoring immigration laws started with Republican President Nixon, and continues up to now, including the terms of Republican presidents Reagan, Bush Sr. and Bush Jr. So, this is not an issue Obama has created out of thin air. It goes back decades.

Prof. Lovell may be loved (or not) by his students, but he is no scholar. At least, not on this matter.

  2. Youe argument is so full of Ideological tripe so as to render it inane and vacuous. It is the DOJ that sues Arizona and doing so by the orders issued by Obama himself. NOT seeking to regulate Federal Law but to get a law enabling them to do what Obama will not!

Cheap labor results in shoddy goods! The TRUE "ugly truth" is the Liberal Democrats wanting Illegal Alien Votes MORE than honesty in America. To say it has been allowed for decades is about the only truthful statement in your diatribe.
Though you might not like the Professor's statements they ate indicative of the Liberal bent which will ultimately destroy this country if not checked NOW!
It is truthful history to say past Presidents have presided over mass deportations and that is exactly what is needed now. Why? Not to punish any hard working people but to get rid of the takers! By that I am saying...any on Welfare, any not paying their medical bills, and drawing any form of governmental assistance and draining the lifeblood out of America. The U.S.A. must not be seen as the world's nanny state and that is that!!! Pastor Lee
