OBAMA LIES ABOUT HIS STAGFLATION

ADMINISTRATION HIDES CRISIS ECONOMIC NUMBERS,
PUSHES FOR HIGHER DEBT CEILING

In a move straight out of an old Soviet propaganda playbook, the Obama Administration is hiding important, crisis-portending inflation information, so that they can continue to falsely claim that America is in economic recovery, or economic recovery is just around the corner, or we could soon be seeing economic recovery, or some such lie. The facts about economic recovery could not be more contrary. America – by any economic indicator, including our true inflation rate of 5-8% and rising, our true unemployment numbers of 16%, our spiraling national debt and government's deficit spending, our financial system's instability, and our average households' fragile ability to provide the most basic staples for our families, such as the rapidly rising prices we are paying at the gas pump and the grocery store – is clearly in grave fiscal danger. We are now entering the perilous territory of Jimmy Carter's double digit STAGFLATION/MISERY INDEX OF THE 1970s! AS RONALD REAGAN ASKED BOLDLY THEN, ARE YOU BETTER OFF NOW THAN YOU WERE FOUR YEARS AGO?

Here are the inflation facts Obama is hiding:

• Gas at the pump has risen 100% since Obama took office
• Cotton is up 140%
• Agricultural Raw Materials are up 81%
• Food Prices are up 49%
• Energy Prices are up 81%

But what do these numbers really mean to consumers?

• Your clothing and cotton-based fabrics are now much more expensive
• It costs farmers significantly more money to plant, fertilize and raise their crops, so all wholesale prices are climbing
• Your grocery bill has gone up and will continue to climb
• Your electric, natural gas and automotive gasoline bills are much higher
• Health care costs are spiraling , and with ObamaCare threatening the market, are expected to spike

In summary, the things that really matter are costing you much, much more – and this is just the beginning.

But Obama and the thought police of his governing political faction don't want you to know that. So they continue to release ridiculous numbers that seem to justify their claim that we actually have DE-flation, i.e. prices are dropping. The fact is, only the decimated housing market is experiencing a decrease in prices. But the Obama Administration is placing a heavy emphasis on the housing prices while leaving food and energy prices out of their inflation reporting and calculations. This allows the Administration to continue with the same old sorry disinformation line – everything is fine, move along, nothing to see here. But the fact is, everything isn't fine. It is far from fine.

Simple logic, and a trip to the grocery store and gas pump reveals the lie – America is currently suffering from accelerating inflation that is moving toward hyper-inflation.

The Obama Administration, including Treasury Secretary Tim-income-taxes-are-for-the-little-people- Geithner, with their Federal Reserve lackey Ben Bernanke, have manipulated the money supply with reckless expansionary monetary policy for far too long. We MUST stop the government printing presses, stop the borrowing free-for-all, and return to a strong dollar – not least because our American families deserve to be able to keep groceries in the cupboards and gas in the tank.

Sanity and responsibility MUST be restored in government fiscal policy with an end to the profligate spending by Washington, and a flat refusal under any circumstances to raise the federal debt ceiling.

Negotiations are underway TODAY in Congress among the Republicans and Democrats to RAISE the debt ceiling and drive our nation even deeper into debt, dependency and fiscal disarray – hyper-inflation and higher unemployment are certain to follow. We MUST unite and force ALL of Congress to abide by the Constitution, honor the Will of the People, and right America's economic ship.
