UNIONS ARE CONTRIBUTING TO AMERICA'S FINANCIAL PLIGHT!

Ever wondered what Left wing public employee unions think about our effort to rein in federal spending, including their huge pensions?

Click here to view a video we took just this week on Capitol Hill where the President of the American Federation of Government Employees Union and his members were protesting against spending cuts.

This public employee union boss, who is paid with your tax dollars, actually called folks like you and me “mentally retarded” for working to cut spending.

Again, this isn't some nameless, faceless guy -- Gage is the President of the American Federation of Government Employees Union and he's calling fellow citizens "mentally retarded" for wanting to cut federal spending which by the way is expected to run a record $1.5 trillion deficit this coming fiscal year.  We shared our video with FOX News and they ran it multiple times.

INDIANA - STOP APPEASING UNIONS!

Dear Conservatives,

You and I have seen it time and time again.

A Republican Presidential candidate "runs to the right" during the primaries to secure votes from the base.

Then, once the candidate has the Republican nomination locked up, he immediately moves to appease the national media -- and the Big Labor elites.

Of course, that's bad enough.

But even worse is the fact that Indiana Governor, and likely Presidential candidate, Mitch Daniels, is already working to appease the union bosses -- even before officially announcing he's running for President!

With overwhelming majorities in both houses of the legislature, Indiana is poised to pass a Right to Work bill -- but Governor Daniels has been conspiring with the Speaker of the Indiana House to block any vote on the bill.

Motorists are already required to carry auto insurance in Texas, the new health care bill requires that every American carry health insurance, and now there's a new mandate in the works---dog insurance.

Red Alert: Mubarak Resigns, Military is in Charge

Excerpt: Egyptian Vice President Omar Suleiman delivered the following statement Feb. 11: “In the name of God the merciful, the compassionate, citizens, during these very difficult circumstances Egypt is going through, President Hosni Mubarak has decided to step down from the office of president of the republic and has charged the high council of the armed forces to administer the affairs of the country. May God help everybody.” Suleiman’s statement is the clearest indication thus far that the military has carried out a coup led by Defense Minister Field Marshal Mohammed Hussein Tantawi. It is not clear whether Suleiman will remain as the civilian head of the army-led government. Egypt is returning to the 1952 model of ruling the state via a council of army officers. The question now is to what extent the military elite will share power with its civilian counterparts. At a certain point, the opposition’s euphoria will subside and demands for elections will be voiced. The United States, while supportive of the military containing the unrest, also has a strategic need to see Egypt move toward a more pluralistic system. Whether the military stays true to its commitment to hold elections on schedule in September remains to be seen. If elections are held, however, the military must have a political vehicle in place to counter opposition forces, particularly the Muslim Brotherhood. The fate of the ruling National Democratic Party (NDP) thus lies in question.
