We have heard much about men “defining” marriage as the U.S. Supreme Court heard important cases on this crucially important subject this week. For two days this week, the United States Supreme Court heard arguments on reconstructing God’s natural order of marriage and the family.
Tuesday, the Court focused on Proposition 8, California’s State Constitutional Amendment defining marriage as being reserved for the union of one man and one woman.
Wednesday, the High Court heard the cases for and against the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), the bipartisan law that affirmed natural marriage for federal purposes.
I have been asked many times this week how I think the Court will come down on both issues. Liberty Counsel has been at the very forefront of affirming natural marriage in America and we have made scores of court appearances at every level of jurisdiction in defense of God’s plan for marriage and the family.
