THIS WEEK IN THE OFFICE OF SENATOR MARCO RUBIO OCTOBER 3-7, 2022 Surveying Damage from Hurricane Ian  Senator Rubio, along with President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill Biden, Governor Ron DeSantis, Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis, and Senator Rick Scott (R-FL), held a briefing with local officials in Lee County following Hurricane Ian.  Senator Rubio met with local officials in Collier County and Everglades city to discuss rescue operations and needed resources.   Senator Rubio and U.S Representative Greg Steube (R-FL) joined local officials in Hardee, DeSoto, and Charlotte counties to survey the damage done by Hurricane Ian.  Expediting Aid for the Seminole Tribe of Florida After receiving a letter from Senator Rubio and Senator Rick Scott, the Biden Administration approved a Major Disaster Declaration for the Seminole Tribe of Florida.
