In a shocking statement, Joe Biden’s secretary of education, Miguel Cardona, said that college students must have access to abortion to succeed in life. Cardona said: “Students need access to [abortion] to thrive in school and in life … ” As education secretary, he said colleges must not consider enacting policies that restrict abortion. “Don’t. Please don’t.” As a former dean of a law school, I am very familiar with the Department of Education and the power it wields over colleges and universities, especially respecting Title IV (student loans), Title IX (discrimination) and accreditation. It is incredibly dark and evil for the head of the American education system to be telling students that they must kill another human being in order to “thrive in school and in life.” But this is the gutter where the minds of these debase people reside. And that is why it is urgent that we push back to protect human life. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and others are frantically trying to enshrine abortion as the law of the land. The Senate is just two votes away from dissolving the filibuster and passing federal abortion mandates. There is so much at stake. With the impending midterms, politicians need to hear from you right now. Fax as many people in Congress as possible and demand to let these children live. — Mat

As someone who has personally visited a morgue and held the tiny, lifeless hand of a baby aborted at 23 weeks, I know the horrors of abortion. This is still happening every day to helpless, living children!

Some are brutally killed with a high concentration of saline that is the equivalent of drinking from the Dead Sea until you die. This burns and dissolves their skin until these babies look blood red, and their little bodies are delivered perfectly whole.

Other children are alive while the abortionist reaches in and rips off arms and legs and pulls apart their little bodies while they cannot escape, and there is nowhere for them to hide. Some people who survive a failed abortion must live the rest of their lives with missing limbs that were ripped off their bodies during this brutal torture intended to murder them.

These bills that at any moment can hit the Senate floor are only waiting for a nod from two more people to pass. These abortion bills are so radical they will reverse the partial-birth abortion ban and allow abortionists to kill children even if they are 99% delivered. While the partial-birth procedure is brutal, the D&E where body parts are ripped piece by piece is even more brutal.

States like California and Colorado are seriously toying with refusing to investigate the suspicious deaths of newborn babies who die up to a week after they are born. And in some cases, they discourage the coroner from investigating the death and banning their testimony in court.

This is absolutely sickening. And it is hard to describe how close radicals are to passing these gruesome bills. Make no mistake, these abortion bills are close to passing. And they will pass, if we remain silent. Even if you have already sent faxes or signed a petition, please do so again. Fax the senators to vote NO on the abortion bills and preserve the filibuster rule.

At latest count, 66 abortion clinics have closed since the Dobbs ruling was handed down on June 24. However, there is still so much more work to do.

There are 10 times that number of abortion clinics that are still open (654). And they continue to operate, some even gearing up for more abortions, including performing abortions in mobile RVs.

Merle Hoffman, president and CEO of Choices Women’s Medical Center in Queens, New York, wrote in her memoir, Intimate Wars: The Life and Times of the Woman Who Brought Abortion from the Back Alley to the Boardroom, the following shocking statement:
 

I quickly came to realize that those who deliver abortion services have not only the power to give women control over their bodies and lives, but also the power—and the responsibility—of taking life in order to do that. Indeed, acknowledgment of that truth is the foundation for all the political and personal work necessary to maintain women's reproductive freedom … The act of abortion positions women at their most powerful. … (emphasis added)
 

The fight over abortion is life and death. This battle has intensified in Congress and the states. And there are federal efforts to erase EVERY LAW PROTECTING LIFE. Tell the Senate that now is the time to let these children live!
