Washington, D.C. – The final vote on the confirmation of leftist Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court is scheduled to take place in the full Senate later this evening. There is still time to contact your Senators and let them know you oppose her confirmation – if you contact them now!
Jackson thinks Roe v. Wade is a precedent that should not be overturned, indicating her support for abortion. She has also given lenient sentences to those involved in child pornography.
Unfortunately, three Republicans have broken ranks with their party and are supporting Jackson’s nomination. Those Senators are Mitt Romney (R-UT), Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), and Susan Collins, (R-ME). Without their support, Jackson's confirmation would likely fail.
If you live in Utah, Alaska, or Maine, we especially encourage you to contact their offices and ask them to reconsider their support for Jackson.
“Even though Jackson’s confirmation will not change the current composition of the court’s conservative majority, we do not know what changes will be made in later years that could make her a key player in decisions related to Life and Family. Therefore, we must oppose her confirmation now while we still can,” said Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue. “I urge all who support life and are concerned for the safety of children to call their Senators now in opposition to Jackson’s confirmation.”
