WEEKLY UPDATE Dear Friends, Thank you to Rex Carringer, pastor of Riverland Baptist Church for inviting me to speak on the current status of Florida conservatism and how the congregation can help support conservative ideals as they translate into modern day policies. On Monday, the Ocala Horse Alliance hosted an event to support Ocala's Paralympian competitors: Lauren Barwick and Cayla van der Walt. Although I was unable to attend the event, I am proud of the outcome and want to share with you a touching statement from Ellie Trueman, President of the Ocala Horse Alliance. Ellie says, "Happy to report that we raised over 12K that will be given to these two inspirational women to help with their expenses to Tokyo. Over 100 people attended. All 50 items donated by the Marion County community were purchased in the silent or live auction. This community really stepped up!"

*Upcoming Event* This Saturday, July 31st I will be speaking at the Young Republican Group Fundraiser, "God & Country." Hope to see you there!

Lastly, I met with Miss Ocala, Casana Fink, to discuss her passion for raising awareness around organ donation. Casana has done an incredible job encouraging people to sign up for organ donation and as the daughter of an organ transplant recipient, her dedication and passion are unmatched. She has worked alongside State Rep. Charlie Stone to provide incentives for becoming an organ donor by providing discounts on renewing your license.
