America is in a tug-a-war over an 18 month quasi-martial law shutdown versus a mass majority of the country released from [home-arrest] by April 10th.
Those of us living off-the-grid.....full time in an RV Recreational Vehicle, are facing some obstacles with the proposed 18 month shutdown of the country. The best part of RV living is the freedom to go where you want to go, when you want to go, and the ability to spend up to 14 days in remote areas in and along the Rocky Mountain Range during the summer when temperatures (for me) in Arizona can easily climb to 115 degrees.
As a retired airline captain, I earned the privileged to live the way I do, and I understand the complexity of what America...especially what President Trump is going through to get America back-on-track, but if the fear mongering Democrats force Trump into an 18 month shutdown, the equivalent of what happened during the 1920's Great Depression will create more deaths and despair, plus a wide range of mental depression, drug and alcohol abuse, spousal / child abuse and will result in a Civil War...PERIOD !!
America will be finished and opens the door for a full-blown communist take-over by the Deep State globalists if Trump succumbs to an 18 month shutdown.
The military are in-place in most every state and we know their mission can change overnight if the current quasi-martial law goes into a Continuity of Government (C.O.G.) status.
Dem governors and local mayors are shutting-down gun stores and threats of gun confiscation have been discussed. California Governor Newsom has threatened to shut-off electric and water to any business that defies the emergency orders.
"Based on examples of previous declarations, martial law would be a suspension of portions of the Constitution, specifically the Bill of Rights. The confiscation of firearms, the suspension of Habeas corpus (due process), travel restrictions, road closures, strict quarantine zones, and automatic search and seizures without warrants." Americans might have to make some serious decisions if it "all goes south" and a full-blown shutdown occurs nationwide.
However, I remain positive and the worst that can happen is an extended shutdown for New York City, Washington State and Los Angeles, plus a few other locations we'll learn about soon.
Most states will begin the recovery effort to get back-on-track and life will be good again.
The battle between Trump and the Democrat Communist / Deep State, in their efforts to destroy America, will fail.
We're armed, we're ready and WE will not allow another 1917 Communist Bolshevik Soviet style take-over of America, because (for me), I paid my dues and in the RV world of this life style....if I can't change the view out my window every 6 months or so, my cats will claw me to death.
My friends, John and Mercedes are stuck in Florida and poor John is being overwhelmed by the fakestream media propaganda, and his lovely wife Mercedes is about to claw him if he doesn't chill-out !

Martial Law in America — Where We Stand Now
Though California governor Gavin Newsom said on Tuesday that there wouldn’t be a need for martial law, he didn’t exactly discount it: “If you want to establish a framework of martial law, which is ultimate authority and enforcement, we have the capacity to do that, but we are not feeling at this moment that is a necessity.” The apt phrase here is “at this moment.” The government might not have a need for it this week, but who knows what will transpire in the days and weeks to come. Of course, rumors and misinformation about what martial law entails has been circulating since early March, even provoking Florida Senator Marco Rubio to complain on Twitter about it, requesting that people “please stop spreading stupid rumors about marshall law. COMPLETELY FALSE.” What was also false was his spelling of martial law.
Then, What is Martial Law?
Under the strictest terms, martial law is when the government replaces civil law with military authority. This means that the United States government can use the military to enforce its will upon the populous. The military becomes the primary law enforcement agency. Under martial law, normal Constitutional freedoms and liberties (think: Bill of Rights) are suspended. On a Federal level, only the President and Congress has the ability to declare martial law, and those states that specifically ordain it in their constitutions are allowed to declare it as well.
What Rights Can Be Suspended?
Based on examples of previous declarations, martial law would be a suspension of portions of the Constitution, specifically the Bill of Rights. The confiscation of firearms, the suspension of Habeas corpus (due process), travel restrictions, road closures, strict quarantine zones, and automatic search and seizures without warrants.
Previous Uses
One doesn’t have to look far to find examples of martial law in the United States. One of the first instances was in 1814 before the Battle of New Orleans. Andrew Jackson imposed martial law in a four-mile radius around the city. Strained tension between the Utah territory and the Federal government in 1857 (known as the Utah War) led Utah Governor Brigham Young to declare martial law for the entire territory under the fear that U.S. troops were poised to attack. Young was removed from office.
Chicago mayor Roswell B. Mason declared martial law after the 1871 Chicago Fire and placed General Philip Sheridan in charge of the whole city. The mayor lifted it after only a couple of days. The same thing happened in 1906 after the San Francisco Earthquake. U.S. troops were called in and houses were dynamited to help quell the fire (it made the fire worse).
The longest period of martial law took place after the attack on Pearl Harbor and lasted until October 1944. A Federal judge later claimed that the U.S. Army “…threw the Constitution into the discard and set up a military dictatorship.”
However, during natural disasters, like Hurricane Katrina, guns and supplies were confiscated, people were forcibly removed from their houses, and property was searched without warrants. Remember when the Boston bombers were hiding out in a Boston neighborhood? The police didn’t issue any warrants, but they certainly searched houses, sometimes against the permission of their owners.
