Democrats have a very well-established pattern of accusing the right-wing of racism. According to the left’s narrative, they themselves are the ones fighting to right the wrongs of the world; Democrats also claim that by promoting values such as hard work and personal responsibility, Republicans are contributing to a supposedly racist society. Furthermore, when Democrats are accused of purposefully dividing Americans on the basis of race, they deny doing any such thing.
Many Democrats have made it their mission to skirt around this issue, but Bernie Sanders won’t be able to do so this time. The Daily Caller News Foundation managed to obtain and review books from Sanders where he takes shots at “poor whites” and uses the N-word a few times. The book titled ‘Outsider in the House’ was originally written by Sanders in 1997, although an updated version, ‘Outsider in the White House’ came out in 2015.
The statements made by Sanders are quite interesting and yet incredibly divisive on the basis of race.
