Southern Baptists Drown in Their Own 'Virtue Signaling'

Submitted by: W.G.E.N.

Here is another of the many reasons I avoid *denominational* churches.  I pay close attention to WHAT gospel the preacher teaches.  Is it the Gospel of Jesus Christ or is it the gossip of the denomination?  I have grumbled many times (as many of you know) of my dislike of the Denominational doctrines being fed to the congregations who fail to read and study the Holy Bible so they have no clue that they are being led over that proverbial cliff to their spiritual death.

When so many so called Christian churches brought in Lesbian and Sodomite leaders to stand behind the pulpit - to lead the Sunday School classes-  I knew spiritual invasion was well under way.

I had watched this same invasion take place in politics, in public schools, in the business community (corporate and Chamber of Commerce), and most social organizations.  They infiltrate to gain positions in the organization and then bring in more of their kind to increase their leverage and when they have enough in place they take over.  Scripture warns us of this and tells us to stand against it.
I've personally watched this in churches I have attended over the years.  I recall one in particular, Assembly of God, and the pastor there was TERRIFIC - he preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ with no additions or subtractions.  I always felt FED when the service was over.  Then he was transferred to another church in another state and the pastor who replaced him was a pablum and cookies preacher - focusing more on the SOCIAL events than on the Gospel of Christ.  After about three months or so I left as I needed a spiritual diet of solid food and I wasn't getting it there.  I tried several more churches after that and never did find one that measured up.  That was when I began my search for a SOLID FOOD preacher and I found a few on TV and radio.  Adrian Rogers was one of the best and even though he has gone Home his sermons are still broadcast every Sunday on DayStar TV.  https://www.lightsource.com/ministry/love-worth-finding/
Greg Laurie is another solid food preacher that I can recommend to readers. https://www.harvest.org/watch-and-listen    I first encountered him on radio when I was living in Texas.  He speaks in PLAIN language that all can understand.  How he came to Christ is a great testimony in itself.  I think he (and David Jeremiah) are filling the space left when Billy Graham went Home.

Once you have grown used to eating a thick steak, medium rare, with no sugary sauces poured on it, it is hard to be satisfied with a bowl of plain grits in its' place.  It matters not how many statues, beads, necklaces, their buildings have or how many Saints they say to pray to (can't find that instruction in scripture at all!) - the plain and singular point is to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ - not the Pope or whoever is filling the pulpit or how big or fancy the church buildings may be.  Christ taught in open fields, by seashores, not in huge fancy buildings.  Christ didn't instruct the Apostles to go and build big churches - He instructed them to go forth and PREACH THE GOSPEL   (notice it doesn't say teach denominational DOCTRINE).
Matt. 28:19   Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mark 16:15   And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

So, look into your mirror and ask yourself if your *denomination* occupant of the pulpit is preaching THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST or some other *gossip*.  Dust off your Bible and see what it states about things - does that match up with what you are hearing as you sit on those pews???  So many denominations are part of the Spiritual DARK DEEP STATE SWAMP.

Southern Baptists Drown in Their Own Virtue Signaling

Russell Moore, president of the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, gives the entity’s report

The Southern Baptist Convention is slouching towards Gomorrah. Sad but true, given the valiant history of its Adrian Rogers-led resurgence in the late twentieth century, and its Russell Moore-led degeneration in the early twenty-first century. While the denominational leadership shakes its head at the 75% of white evangelicals who support President Donald Trump’s civic nationalist agenda, they have further antagonized its rank-and-file membership by embracing every Marxist agenda item offered by the Left.

Illegal immigration? Check.

Resettling Muslims in U.S. towns and cities? Check.

Condemning whites who protest against blacks who victimize them and their communities? Check.

Taking a stand against masculine heterosexual behavior (and justifying it on account of some homosexual pastors’ molestation of boys)? Check.

Incorporating overt feminism and anti-white theology into your denomination’s standards? Check.

All that’s left is to openly embrace homosexuals and transvestites…which given Moore’s historic alliance with the Obamas might seem to some as already accomplished. But that aside, the denomination is shifting towards acceptance of these degenerates in a way that is every bit as awkward, but steady, as that taking place in the Vatican thanks to the current pope.

The Southern Baptist Convention has been moving this way for years. As R.L. Dabney pointed out, this “conservative” denomination has followed in the shadow of its more progressive counterparts. Like other Leftist organizations, it also does not hesitate to devour its own former leaders, such as in 2012 when it booted Moore’s predecessor, Richard Land, for stating inconvenient truths. Sadly, the gentleman in question made a public confession like all good goyische victims of communism have in the past.

The denomination’s about-face on race is intentional. Like its fellow Southern-born church denomination, the Presbyterian Church in America, the SBC was created of, by, and for Southern people who believed that slaveholding and acknowledging racial differences were morally innocent according to Scripture. In order for the SBC to try to attain greater stature in an actively egalitarian, race-mixing era, SBC leaders have pushed steadily to move away from, denounce, and purge every vestige of its own foundational beliefs from its system.

Such beliefs were purged from the SBC standards years ago, but beliefs don’t possess power by being written down. They emanate power because they reside in the bodies and minds of men who live accordingly.

Ergo, to neutralize that power, SBC leaders are carrying out their own Inquisition to boot authentic, non-self-hating, white Christians from their ranks.

To the SBC the love of one’s own ethnic kinfolk is a sin when the person and folk in question are white. Apparently the observation that all humans aren’t equal when it comes to crime is also a sin when the observer is white and the observed aren’t white. Apparently, not preemptively disciplining a church member for aforementioned thoughtcrimes merits a pastor and his congregation being disfellowshipped (i.e., kicked out) from its church association when the pastor and congregation in question are white.

That’s the Southern Baptist Convention in 2018 for you.

As reported by the anti-Southern, very rich, law-perverting agitprop center known as the $PLC, Pastor David Rogers of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Bartlett, Tennessee didn’t back down when his church association gave him an ultimatum: kick out pro-white radio show host James Edwards, or get kicked out of the church club.

I learned several weeks ago that there are some pastors from out of state who have decided that James is a racist. We’re not going to wade into whether James is a racist because he is not a racist….

They called me and asked me if I would dismiss him from our church or if our church would dismiss him. I said there’s no basis to dismiss him from our church.… As a result of that, my understanding is that these folks intend to bring a motion to the Southern Baptist Convention next month that our church be removed from the Southern Baptist Convention.

The Mid-South Baptist Association is a second-tier organization in the SBC hierarchy. The MSBA took action at its level by removing the church from its church directory this month. Therefore, the SBC higher-ups won’t need to get their hands dirty by smearing Edwards themselves in front of the national press. It’s sort of like Pilate doing the crucifying outside of the city walls, so his well-connected Jewish constituents wouldn’t have to look mean in front of all the Passover tourists whose shekels they coveted.

In this case, the mob demanding the blood of an innocent man was led by Dwight McKissic of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas. He demanded that the SBC purge its ranks of people who were overtly pro-white. That is, he thought it was sinful for people in the Alt Right to profess their love for their own race, and their desire to serve their race for the glory of God.

Got that?

Now read this. I kid you not, this is what he has pinned to the top of his Twitter page:

This anti-white hypocrite is the guy whose lard-filled black masculinity made the SBC cuck leadership quiver so much that they and their lackeys at the MSBA booted Rogers and the entire Lighthouse Baptist Church body over Edwards’s alleged racism.

Another mid-level Baptist group disfellowshipped an elderly white congregation for similar reasons in April. The result was that a black congregation got exclusive rights to the church building the white congregation had opened up to share with the black congregation. How convenient!

Hypocrites like this are losers. They’re just losers.

Imagine what the Lord must be doing in Heaven right now at the sight of such blatant double standards, done in His Name.

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
(Psalm 2:1-5)
