The media really are pushing an extreme leftist agenda on illegal immigration. They may try to deny it but the MRC is on the case and we have the receipts to prove it.
The MRC’s News Analysis Division released a new study today revealing that, during the first 18 months of President Trump’s presidency, 1) the major news networks devoted more time to covering immigration than any other policy issue, 2) 92% of immigration coverage has been negative and hostile towards the administration.
This breaks down into hundreds of minutes (an astounding 995 minutes total) of blatant and biased reporting on the liberal media’s favorite immigration topics. This bias is evident in the way the major networks choose to report these stories — their tone as well as the stories they decide to cover or ignore.
We’re certain you’ve heard one (or all) of the major news networks endlessly pontificate about President Trump’s zero tolerance policy or showcase guests who want to abolish ICE. But it's far less likely that you’ve heard one of the big networks cover (or even mention) the numerous cases - some of them incredibly tragic - about innocent Americans who have been hurt or even killed by illegal immigration.
This is outrageous but not surprising. The liberal media are getting desperate.
We can’t tolerate this level of bias. It’s time to take action and let people know that the networks are trying to manipulate the public into swallowing their liberal propaganda.
