Here’s an interesting quote by President Donald Trump…
“People of the media are often recklessly devious and deceptive. Recent polls have shown that the general public is wise to the act. Journalism – if you even want to call it that, these days – is widely considered one of the most untrustworthy professions in the United States.”
What’s interesting isn’t the quote itself, but when it was written. I just finished reading Trump’s second book, “The Art of Comeback,” and that quote is found on page 176 and was written in 1997…TWENTY years ago!
The more things change…
I also found this prophetic passage quite interesting – again, from TWENTYyears ago…
“It seems every so often there’s some unfounded rumor that I’m considering seeking office – sometimes even the presidency! The problem is, I think I’m too honest, and perhaps too controversial, to be a politician. I always say it like it is, and I’m not sure a politician can do that, although I might just be able to get away with it because people tend to like me.”
Yes, 62,979,879 people last November!
When you read old quotes like this, it’s hard not to think it was Donald Trump’s destiny to be president. And history is now in the making.

P.S. Why would anyone think draining a swamp would be a neat, clean, hassle-free process? Did anyone think these particular swamp monsters in DC would simply pack up and leave without a fuss?
No, swamp monsters will only be vanquished from the swamp kicking and screaming all the way, especially CNN. It’s a messy, loud, chaotic process.
For the remainder of President Trump’s term, whenever one monster gets flushed down the drain, another will emerge from the ooze, bellowing and shrieking, flinging its arms wildly in all directions desperately hoping to avoid being flushed.
You don’t drain a swamp with gentle coaxing and therapy puppies. Buckle up, America.
CNN Continues Brewing Trump-Hate with Non-Story Story
How badly does CNN hate President Trump and how badly is the fake news network in the bag for the left as its unofficial propagandist?
On Friday the Labor Department announced that 209,000 new jobs were created in July and unemployment fell to just 4.3% - a 16 year low - leading the President to tweet…
“Excellent Jobs Numbers just released - and I have only just begun. Many job stifling regulations continue to fall. Movement back to USA!"
To which CNN tweeted…
“President Trump jumped the gun on jobs report tweet – again.”
So the President got the figures wrong? Or he interpreted them wrong?
CNN’s gleefully breathless tweet slammed the President for violating some obscure federal rule that members of the executive branch have to wait one hour after the employment figures are released before they can comment on them – kinda like how yoru mom used to make you wait 30 minutes after you ate before you could go swimming again.
This is how sick CNN’s obsessive jihad against Trump is. No matter what this President does; no matter how good anything tied to this President is; CNN will stoop as low as it needs to – in the swamp or in the sewer - to dig up something negative about it.
President Trump is 100% correct. CNN is an enemy of the American people.
If Congress Won’t Protect Us from Wells Fargo, then at Least Get Out of the Way
(Chuck Muth)- From personal experience, this much I know: If a company even INQUIRES about your credit history, that alone can have an adverse effect on your credit rating.Or if you have what some lenders consider “too many” credit cards, even if you pay them all on time.
So make no mistake, what Wells Fargo did in opening fake bank accounts and credit cards in their customers’ names without their knowledge, let alone permission is, in the cleaned-up-for-a-family-publication words of former Vice President Joe Biden, a “big freaking deal.”
This is fraud on a massive scale with significant potential harm to the victims that, individually, is almost impossible to quantify even if the victims want to make a big stink about it.
The problem is, buried in the fine print of Wells Fargo’s agreements for opening a bank account or obtaining a credit card, you are banned from suing them.
