Ballot Bandits Stealing Something Far More Valuable than Petty Cash and Candy Bars

Jones) – Whether it’s a shoplifter stealing from your shelves, or an employee with sticky fingers in your cash drawer, or a trusted bookkeeper draining your bank account, the pain of being violated and betrayed is strong and deep. Why should anyone feel any differently at having their vote stolen?

(Dennis Hof) - I’m no constitutional scholar, but for some reason I cannot find the authority for Congress to tell a private employer how much he must pay a voluntary worker for his services. Nor can I find the authority to force an employer to provide his employees health insurance, paid time off, or a private room for moms to breast-feed. It’s just not there.
“Stapling” Trash Collection in Las Vegas
(Chuck Muth) – If the government considers it “bad” for two private companies to merge their operations and capture the bulk of the office supply market, how is it “good” for the government to grant monopoly control of a trash collection market?
