This could be one of the most important weeks in the battle to build a conservative United States Senate in 2016.
Two liberal Republicans are announcing their campaigns this week, setting up head-to-head contests with our conservative candidates.
Yesterday, Congressman Todd Young announced his campaign against conservative Congressman Marlin Stutzman in Indiana.
And this Wednesday, Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera will announce his campaign against conservative Congressman Ron DeSantis in Florida.
Todd Young and Carlos Lopez-Cantera are liberal Republicans who should not be elected to the U.S. Senate.

And Lopez-Cantera's record includes supporting wasteful spending at the state level, in-state tuition for illegal immigrants, and former governor Charlie Crist’s budget that raised taxes by $2.2 billion.
It's up to us to fight back and raise help Marlin Stutzman and Ron DeSantis raise the funds they need to win these important Senate races.
That's why we will be hosting an online "money bomb" fundraiser this Wednesday, July 15th. Our goal will be to raise $100,000 to support Stutzman and DeSantis in a 24-hour period.
You will be able to contribute directly to these candidates' campaigns and to SCF's PAC to help us promote them.
SCF will pay all processing costs so the candidates will receive 100% of the funds you designate for their campaigns.
This event is very important to every American regardless of where you live because Young and Lopez-Cantera will vote with the DC establishment to undercut conservatives, so please think about what you can contribute and be ready to donate when we send you the money bomb link on Wednesday.
We are in the middle of a fight for the future of our country and that fight will be won or lost based on the kind of Republicans we elect.
Our conservative candidates in Indiana and Florida can win their races, but they need our help to do it.
