Dear Conservatives, As you know, the Obama administration is gearing up to impose the costliest regulation in U.S. history. No longer content with simply bankrupting the coal industry, Obama and his EPA are attempting to put strict limits on ozone. If implemented, these new regulations could slash economic growth by $270 billion, destroy 2.9 million jobs, and leave families with $1,570 less per year to spend on household necessities. And since this regulation would throw large portions of the country into so-called “non-attainment” status, it could force businesses to shut down or risk hefty fines. It could also force local communities to abandon plans to build new roads and schools. But we don’t have to sit back and watch while Obama continues to dismantle our economy. We can fight back! Today the American Energy Alliance has launched a new petition drive against this dangerous ozone rule. With enough petitions and public comments we can overwhelm the EPA and force them to throw out this regulation! But the comment period ends March 17th, so we must begin building momentum against this dangerous rule now! You’ve stood with us before, so please stand with us again by signing our petition today.
