OBAMA REFUSES TO GRASP REALITY RENDERING HIMSELF INEFFECTIVE

Obama To Voters – My Voice is The Only One That Counts

The day after the 2014 election, the president made one of his Olympian pronouncements: "To everyone who voted, I want you to know that I hear you," he declared. But, "to the two-thirds of Americans who chose not to participate in the process yesterday, I hear you too."

But what are non-voters saying, that they love the president so much that they couldn't bear to take part in an election where he'd be crushed?

It's more likely non-voting is due to laziness, apathy or cynicism about a political process that offers Barack Obama and Mitt Romney as alternatives.

In 2014, there was a voter-participation rate of 36.6%. Republicans won at least seven Senate seats (and possibly as many as nine) and increased their majority in the House, giving them complete control of Congress for the first time in eight years. Add 31 Republican governors into the mix.

After the 2006 election (the second midterm election for George W. Bush), the turnout rate was nearly identical – 36.8%. The results were also dramatic. Democrats captured the House and Senate, and controlled 36 governorships.

The day after the 2006 election, W. didn't say he heard both those who voted and the two-third who didn't, to rationalize his party's stunning defeat. That's because, unlike his successor, Bush accepts the will of the people.

Bush believes in representative government. Obama is a totalitarian at heart.

Is the president's pronouncement further evidence that he's delusional, insanely arrogant or so self-absorbed that he can't see beyond his party-size ego?

Yes, yes and yes. But the best explanation for Obama contemptuously dismissing the outcome of the 2014 election lies in classic communist theory.

Why is the Middle Kingdom called the People's Republic of China? Where do the people figure in? Of China's 1.35 billion people, roughly 6% belong to the communist party – and few of them actually count. The real power resides in the 7-member Politburo's Standing Committee.

According to communist theory, the party – and the party alone – is the authentic voice of the people. Only the party can act in the name of the people. The party understands what's best for them far better than they do themselves. It doesn't matter what the people say they want – only what the party knows they need.

Thus, for Obama and the radical party he leads, the only authentic elections are those they win. Only their voice counts.

When the masses reject open borders, nationalized health care, wealth-redistribution and the cultural left's agenda, it's irrelevant. Obama, Pelosi and Reid believe that (unlike 2008 and 2012), in 2010 and 2014, voters were brainwashed with Koch Brothers' millions, duped, or are just too stupid to know what's good for them.

Never has a president been more out of sync with those he's supposed to lead. And never has a president cared less about what the American people think.

Did Obama hear the voters of deep-blue Oregon, when they rejected drivers' licenses for illegal aliens, by a landslide vote of 67.4% to 32.6% on November 4?

In an August 26 , 2014 Rasmussen survey of likely voters, 62% said they opposed the president granting amnesty by executive order, a scant 26% approved.

In an August 4th CBS News poll, 65% of adults called for a faster way to deport members of the children's crusade from Central America, while 62% said illegal immigration is a serious problem. And in a Reuters survey (August 22), 70% said illegal immigration "threatens American society." These invaders are "a burden on the economy," say 83%.

Obama could care less. If he can't blackmail Republicans into passing an amnesty pronto, he'll do it by executive order. He'll do it in the name of compassion. He'll do it in the name of reform. He'll do it in the name of the people – even as the people tell him they hate the idea.

It's the same thing with marriage.

Obama has done everything imaginable to mainstream homosexuality, including ersatz marriage. He refused to defend the federal Defense of Marriage Act when it was before the Supreme Court, ignoring his constitutional duty. He twisted arms to get generals and admirals to say that repeal of Don't ask, Don't tell was a fine thing for national security.

Exporting the gay agenda to the Third World has become a major component of U.S, foreign policy. Our ambassadors regularly march in gay pride parades overseas.

Does Obama "hear" the voters of 32 states who passed amendments to their state constitutions between 1998 and 2012, defining marriage as the union of a man and a woman, most by super-majorities?

This includes true-blue California (52%-48%) Michigan (59%-41%), Oregon (57%-42%) and Hawaii (71%-20%) – the last was to authorize the legislature to amend the state's constitution. Even North Carolina, where the party of pot, Islam and perversion held its 2012 nominating convention, voted in favor of marriage, 61% to 39%.

The voters of almost two-thirds of the states have endorsed what has been the definition of marriage for most of recorded history – the only one that makes sense. Obama is sublimely indifferent. He's willing to stuff "same-sex marriage" down the yokels' throats, even though he claimed to oppose it, "as a Christian," in 2008.

In a May Gallup Poll, the country seemed to be evenly divided on abortion, with 47% saying they were "pro-choice" and 46% declaring themselves pro-life. But when you move away from labels to specifics – partial-birth abortion, abortion after 20 weeks, parental notification or consent, public funding – most Americans would ban most abortions. But not Mr. Obama, who's an abortion absolutist.

When he addressed the Planned Parenthood Federation of America's 2013 convention – after he risked a government shutdown by refusing to sign a budget deal that cut its federal funding – the head of PPFA said "President Obama has done more than any president in history for women's health and rights" – translation: abortion on demand, abortion that pro-lifers are forced to fund, abortion that's easier to get than a hair transplant.

Finally, there's the crown jewel of Obamaism – Obamacare. It passed both houses in 2010 on a straight party-line vote, and was largely responsible for the GOP winning the House of Representatives that year.

According to Erick Erickson at Red State, more than 25 Senators who voted for Obamacare have been defeated in the last four years.

Since it was first proposed in 2009, Obamacare has never had the support of a majority of Americans. A September 10th Kaiser Family of America poll had 35% supporting the monstrosity, 47% opposed.

Former Democratic Congressman Artur Davis called it "the single least popular piece of major domestic legislation in the last 70 years."

In the past election, Democrats were terrified of running on it. The American people have said over and over again (until they're hoarse): We don't want it. It sucks! Take it away. Chairman Barack says repeal – or a major revision – isn't even open to discussion.

Other than raising the minimum wage, it's hard to find a controversial issue where public opinion coincides with Obama doctrine.

Those who think Chairman Barack does what he does because he's incompetent, arrogant, surrounded by bad advisors or playing to his base just don't get it. This is what Obama is.

Obama wants an influx of illegal aliens, the deconstruction of marriage and the family, abortion-on-demand for all nine months of pregnancy and health-care controlled by politicians and bureaucrats.

If you're too stupid, blind or brainwashed to know what's good for you, tough. Obama could care less.

The president of the United States is running around the White House, with his fingers stuck in his ears, taunting voters with cries of: "I can't hear you!"
