1. Right Debates How to Govern - via The Hill
Republican leaders in Congress are coming under conflicting pressures as influential voices in the party debate whether the new majority should work with President Obama or oppose him at every turn.
“Passing all of the Washington lobbyists’ wish-list items is not going to get Republicans through 2016,” said Matt Kibbe, president of the Tea-Party group FreedomWorks, which has frequently criticized GOP leaders.
Kibbe urged leaders to tackle the individual mandate and reign in so-called “risk corridors” in the healthcare law that conservatives deride as bailouts for insurance companies. He also wants to see Congress vote on an alternative to the healthcare law, something Republicans failed to do this past election cycle. Read more here...

2. FreedomWorks to Obama: Keep Your Hands Off the Internet
Washington, DC- Following President Obama’s statement urging the Federal Communications Commission to adopt strict rules on net neutrality, FreedomWorks President Matt Kibbe commented:
“Keeping the internet ‘free and open’ through federal oversight is an oxymoron that only government logic can create. 7. Supreme Court will Hear Legal Challenge to ObamaCare Subsidies - by Jason Pye
ObamaCare is, once again, headed to the nation's highest court. The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments over an IRS rule that granted tax credit subsidies to states that opted not to create an ObamaCare exchange. By granting review, the Supreme Court is going against the wishes of the Obama administration, which had argued that the case, King v. Burwell, should work its way through lower courts: Read more here...
