Revisited

 

 

I sent a recent sermon wherein I told of The Tower of Babel and its close application to the present times. I recently listened to a Jewish Rabbi set forth his interpretation and this prompted me to do some research. In hopes of enlightening you I will now set forth what I learned and what I think you must consider.

 

Genesis 10: ⁸ Cush was the father of Nimrod, who became a mighty warrior on the earth. ⁹ He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; that is why it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD.” ¹⁰ The first centers of his kingdom were Babylon, Uruk, Akkad and Kalneh, in Shinar ¹¹ From that land he went to Assyria, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah ¹² and Resen, which is between Nineveh and Calah—which is the great city.

 

Nimrod, as is described in verse 9 was a mighty hunter. One would think that with the words, “before the Lord,” he would have been a great man of God. Well, not so fast!

Nimrod was NOT at all Godly! Nimrod went so far as to claim that he was 2/3 god and only 1/3 man. He is thought to be the person named in history as Gilgamesh. Referring to Nimrod as a ‘hunter’ was to say, ‘he was a hunter of men he could control’.

 

Nimrod, spoken as the word ‘marad,’ means ‘one who has rebelled against God.’ So great was Nimrod’s rebellion against God he actually claimed that he killed ‘Humwawa,’ who he named as “having caused the great flood.”

 

You must know that ‘Humwawa,’ is the name we know as Yahweh. Yahweh, the One True God is named as YHWH in God’s Word, our Bible.

 

Nimrod is described as, arrogant; ruthless; depraved and narcissistic.

 

Nimrod had the goal of changing the existing government, which was God’s Law into a government of tyranny. His desire was to use his followers, described as tyrannical and rebellious, to turn the population from God and to have them openly forsake Him. He sought out men that had the same traits as himself that he could control through greed, promises of power and positions whereby they could enjoy wealth.

 

Then Nimrod, it is said, began to have men build bricks…You must realize that bricks are the same in appearance.

 

Now come the part you must understand. Those ‘bricks’ represent man. All the same and all thinking alike. None daring to ‘buck’ the system and each willing to allow their leader to make decisions for them!

 

To ensure that the ‘bricks’ stayed in line they were set in place with ‘mortar.’ In this case we can look at that ‘mortar’ as the regulations, rules and laws set forth by Nimrod and his minions to keep the people in line.

 

Now we begin to see the relationship to the Tower of Babel .

 

Man, the ‘bricks,’ held together by ‘mortar,’ regulations, rules and laws set forth by Nimrod, were to construct a Tower to reach god…their existing god…Nimrod!

 

Genesis 11: ³ They said to each other, “Come, let’s make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. ⁴ Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves;

 

This angered God and He acted.

 

Genesis 11: ⁷ Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”

 

God, in His infinite wisdom thwarted the plans and actions of Nimrod not only by scattering the people to places around the world but made communications impossible for Nimrod to continue his deceit and rebellion toward God.

 

Now, let us see the application to the events of this very day.

 

We have a man, George Soros, who in his own words likens himself to God. His goal is a One World Order and to deny belief in God. He is surrounding himself with men that are possessed of his traits. We see these traits in many headlines today. Tyrannical and greedy leaders who seek to rebel against existing governments. We watch as regulations, rules and laws are enacted to control the populace.

 

Just how much must I relate before the ‘light goes off’ and you sit up in surprise? How long will it be before your eyes are wide open?

 

The only thing lacking is God showing His anger!

 

Well, He may be waiting until the ‘building’ begins. In order to begin that process there must first be ‘bricks.’ To date there are not enough ‘bricks’ to begin building. There is ‘mortar’ in an amount to begin building but not enough to build an entire structure as is desired!

 

You, and I encourage each of you, must get informed. You must learn exactly what is meant by the One World Order and their intentions.

 

For starters: It is the desire of the One World Order to reduce the world’s population to a ‘controllable’ sum. That sum is, and hold onto your hats, 500,000 total population!

The excess of the existing population are referred to as ‘eaters,’ and are excess baggage!

 

To accomplish their goal of population reduction we see: abortion; food additives designed to reduce food values; serums that are supposed to heal but will further cause havoc; laws enacted to curtail healthcare; allowance of euthanasia; and other moves to attain their goals.

 

In scattering the people at Babel and creating languages to separate them God accomplished His goal. When the time is right and when the Nimrod of today and his minions think they have begun their building with sufficient ‘bricks’ and ‘mortar’ He will act and not one moment earlier! Until that time it is we that must either continue or actually strengthen our resistance or we must simply sit on our hands and wait!

 

There may be an alternative plan as God bides His time. God gave each of us gifts with which we are to use. If those gifts are allowed to be wasted then those recipients must accept their fate. On the other hand if those gifts are used wisely and with faith in He who gave those gifts

 

It may be our duty to accomplish His goals by our actions and deeds. We must pray and seek His guidance and when given, act upon His desires. When we do His will I am confident that He will smile as we each arrive at His presence and say, “Well done, faithful servant, well done.”

 

As an example, God gave me the gift of communication amongst others gifts bestowed upon me. It is my intent, with God’s approval, to make known the actions of the Nimrod of this day and to do my utmost to see him fail. You too must join in and support the One True God, Your Father in Heaven!

Abba, Almighty God, please hear our praises of You and for You. Please accept them knowing we really mean them and say them with love. As You do this O Lord, we ask that You allow us to worship You and to do Your bidding. Lord, You rule our lives and You are our everything.

 

Father, You see the chaotic manner in which we are being led by a government that is oppressive and run in a manner that demeans You and Your creation. Lord, we see, as You do, our forefathers ridiculed and even lied about.

 

Lord, we ask that You intervene and enlighten the hearts and minds of men and women that are Your servants and will do Your will. Please block the men and women who would seek to thwart Your will and set this nation upright as You have done before.

 

Father, we further ask that the man who seeks to name himself as Your equal be unmasked and his misdeeds shown to all mankind. We ask that his followers be made known and subjected to ridicule and punished as You deem fitting.

 

We pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is One with You and the Holy Spirit, One God forever and ever,
