Watch out…beware
There are so very
many men and women, both denominational as well as
non-denominational, that are saying, “I speak in behalf of the Lord,” then set about teaching their philosophies as factual Biblical truth. In a sermon in the past I cited 1 Corinthians 1:17. That verse of scripture is very clear in its meaning.
1 Corinthians 1:17 “For
Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the Good News – and
not with clever speeches and high-sounding ideas, for fear that the
cross of Christ would lose its power.”
One
denomination, and I do not speak foolishly against the followers of
that denomination, is being subjected to a schism for bowing to
political correctness. They have appointed a practicing homosexual as a
leader. Almighty God has made known His position on homosexuality as
well as altering His Word as set forth in the Bible. For clarity I will
now set forth several passages of the Bible that are clear in setting
forth God’s Word.
Romans 1: 26-27 That
is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even women turned
against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with
each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with
women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with
other men and, as a result, suffered within themselves the penalty they
so justly deserved.
1 Corinthians 9.10 Don’t you know that those who do wrong will have no share in the
Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves.
Those who indulge in sexual sin, who are idol worshippers, adulterers,
male prostitutes, homosexuals, thieves, greedy people, drunkards,
abusers, and swindlers – none of these will have a share in the Kingdom of God.
1 Corinthians 5: 9 …I told you not to associate with people who indulge in sexual sin.
We learn from the Words of God that He commands sexual purity.
Homosexuality is not sexually pure nor is the blessing of such unions
between members of the same sex acceptable in God’s eyes. How then would
any denomination or Pastor think that appointing any man who is
sexually impure to a position of authority or a woman to give blessing
to any such people? When a person, supposedly in a leadership position,
refers to our Lord and Savior as, ‘Mother Jesus,’ I have righteous
anger.
This is only a small part of the practices that are an attack on Christianity.
Some
of the many men and women are presenting themselves as Christian
Ministers and are nothing more than people that are preying on your
souls and your money.
Acts 20: 29-30 I know full well that false teachers, like vicious wolves, will
come among you after I leave, not sparing the flock. Even some of you will distort the truth to draw a following.
Now,
consider the meaning of a man or a woman assuming the position of a
Minister. By this I include a Pastor, Priest, or any titled position
that can infer the leader of a church.
Ministers: Defenders of the faith; Evangelists, Preachers of righteousness, Overseers.
Does
any man or woman who sets forth his or her ideas, above God’s Word, as
religious fact deserve a following? It is a shame that an excess of
eleven million people are choosing to follow a religion that was created
by a man who altered and added his own words to the Bible. How then
would any man or woman be so vain as to place himself or herself at a
level so as to intimate themselves as equals of God Himself? What about a
denomination that seeks to rename the Holy Trinity? To think that the
reference to ‘mother, baby and womb,’ instead of Father, Son and Holy
Spirit, is not only inane but is a slander of God.
There
is God the Father (reference NT Gospels, over 100 references
by
Jesus Himself), Jesus as God’s begotten Son, and the Holy Spirit, the
latter being referred to many, many times in God’s Word as male figures.
How anyone can state otherwise is attempting to change God’s Word!
This is present not only in particular religions but in Christian churches as well.
Revelation 22: 18-19 And
I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the prophetic words of this
Book: If anyone adds anything to what written here, God will add to that
person the plagues described in this Book. And
if anyone removes any of the words of this prophetic Book, God will
remove that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city that
are described in this Book.
You
may have, as I definitely have, over the course of listening to
sermons, purportedly Christian, heard questionable words. Words that not
only change the Word of God, but add to and delete words and meanings
God has set forth in uncertain terms. They say, “If you interpret them
differently than I do…” and then set out to overcome your gift from God,
that being discernment! Their intent is to ‘pull the wool over your
eyes.’
The
founder of a religion changed over one thousand verses of the Bible and
added one hundred and twenty five of his own! Does that surprise you? I
have heard Pastors, purportedly Christian, change meanings by
exchanging the your ‘no’ to the word ‘yes.’ Often the changes are
subtle.
You may be asking yourselves, “How does this affect me?”
You are affected because God has given you the gift of discernment, the ability to
tell right
from wrong! He expects you to do His will, not the will of others.
Every
word I preach or teach is from God’s Word. No person has the right to
alter God’s word for any reason whatever. Not anyone at all.
Just
as the teachings of a religion that fails to see Jesus Christ as our
Lord and Savior is to be avoided, so are the teachings and preaching of
any man or woman to refuses to accept God’s Word as supreme over his or
her thoughts and must be avoided.
How
can a person, purporting him or herself to be Christian say, “All men
are born with God within themselves?” Doesn’t God say, in the Bible:
John 8:42-44 Jesus
told them, “If God were your Father, you would love me because I have
come to you from God. I am not here on my own, but He sent me. Why can’t
you understand what I am saying? It is because you are unable to do so!
For you are the children of your father the Devil, and you love to do
the things the evil things he does…...”
Why would God, if He were in every man, say:
Revelation 3: 20 “Look!
Here I stand at the door and knock. If you hear Me calling and open the
door, I will come in and we will share a meal as friends.”
If He were already in your
heart, being born there, why would He author such a verse?
How
can another stand in front of a gathering of Christians and promote
earthly riches as the rights of those to whom he speaks? He went so far
as to voice a prayer for the wealth of himself as well as for others.
Not just sufficient means to get by, but extreme wealth!
Luke 8: 14 “…but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the cares and
riches and pleasures of this life….”
How
can a man say “I am a Pastor,” Then stand and say, in direct opposition
to God’s Word, his congregation once were, ‘weeds?’ This was said as he
attempted to sermonize on Matthew 13. After the sermon I had asked him
if he was aware that God authored the Bible and has said in Matthew
13:38
“The field is the world, and the good seed represents the people of the Kingdom. The weeds are the people who
belong to the evil one.”
His reply was to shrug his shoulders and change the subject! He evidently had not read the entire parable Christ spoke.
I
ask, “How does a person metamorphosis from being a child of Satan to
being God’s child?” Not every man or woman is a child of the Devil but,
sadly, some are..
I
can go on and on about false teachers and relate many instances where
God’s Word was either altered or ignored. Undoubtedly you have been
subjected to such blathering. I say, ‘blathering,’ as that is what they
are. They certainly are not the Word of God.
There
is a religion that teaches, “All men of faith (theirs), upon death,
will become god. That religion also goes so far as to teach their
followers, “Any man who does not accept our religion is to be regarded
as a ‘son of perdition,’ and avoided.”
To the person who does not understand this, a ‘son of perdition’ is a child of Satan.
Again, I can go on but in Jesus’ way of being brief I think you see my lesson.
In
closing I want you to be ever vigilant and read God’s Word. Not only
read it but learn it. You, as mature Christians must learn when it is
time to go from any place where deceit lives.
Matthew 10: 14 “When a village doesn’t welcome you or listen to you, shake the dust of that place from your feet and leave.”
A prior passage also directs you to, “Take back your blessing,” from such a place.
This
entire message is intended to teach you what
you must to do to ensure you are willfully listening to the Good Word
and not to the imaginations of man. God sent His Son to us to deliver us
from sin. In the Old Testament and in the New Testament we are
continually warned to be on the alert as there are those amongst us that
have but one intent. That intent, in one way or another, can mean an
eternity in hell or an eternity in God’s presence. To listen to anyone
who preaches anything not in God’s Word, of his or her imagination, in
conflict with God’s Word or, with the intent of fleecing God’s sheep, is
sinful and can cost you your eternal life.
God
gave man free will. God also gave discernment. Will you give God any
less than your best? Would you have Him watch you as you listen to His
Word being distorted
and used to, ‘put you to sleep,’ spiritually?
(Closing prayer)
Heavenly
Father we come to you in our time of need. Please, Father, accept our
praise and sincere thanks for all a You provide. Strengthen us El Gibbor
and allow us to be firm in our belief in you. Teach us to realize that
our duty is to learn your Word and to recognize those who would ensnare
us to any way other than Yours. As our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
taught us, we pray that You deliver us from evil. Please Lord, as
Jehovah Tsidkenu, make us righteous in Your eyes and
strengthen our faith. Please O Lord, as Your Divine Son taught us to
pray, deliver us from the Evil One.
This we pray in the name of Jesus Christ who is One with You and the Holy Spirit. One God, forever and ever,
