[ Jesus tells of His Death a Third Time ]
And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem;
and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, And shall
deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

America - Americans are Exceptional !!!
by Lyle Rapacki
w vid as posted below - How sad to see and
hear those in our Nation who do not believe America is truly
exceptional. How terribly disconcerting to know there are
people in positions of high public trust who vehemently not
only think America is not exceptional but actually forcibly
voice their disdain at every opportunity, and to paint our
country with a brush of hatred they personally carry with
them. Why did they come here in the first place…why do
they remain!? Get Out! Leave…and take your discoloring
paint brush with you!
America is exceptional because of the many Americans who quietly go about caring for others, and not just in our country but across the world. Maybe because we realize just how God blessed us as a nation and as a people; maybe because our ancestors, and their ancestors before them, and our Founding Fathers (and Mothers) openly voiced their thanks unto Almighty God for the blessings and privileges He extended to this land in the hope and prayer that we would truly remain exceptional; knowing our inalienable rights come not from man or government, but they derive from God’s Word which was the guide book that helped create this Nation and our form of government under God. Generation after generation almost instinctively knew (and were regularly taught and reminded) that our United States of America was an experiment unlike any civilization or country or government before. We are exceptional, not because God loves or favors us above others, but because our country was ordained to be about the people and for the people – not about royalty or worse; tyranny. Our Forefathers fled tyranny. They sailed away from royalty to a new land with an unheard of form of government never tried in the history of the world at that time. Almost from the beginning newly arrived pioneers to our shores were told they could become whatever they wished; they could enjoy the fruits of their labor; they could walk in freedom and not fear reprisal; they could laugh and they could worship freely. This way of life so permeated our civilization that Americans began to give back at every opportunity without thought, but with great joy.
Give back…think of others…share the wealth of this Nation out of a sense of freedom and love and thanksgiving for how we have been blessed, not by orders and conscription from a tyrannical government and/or its’ agents. Throughout the world Americans have given to those less fortunate; to those in need and hurting. Throughout the world Americans can be found quietly going about making a positive difference in the lives of people they do not know personally, and may never see again. But Americans give. Americans develop plans and launch major operations to move love into countries full of people needing love and caring consideration, and yes, needing just plain ole American laughter and fun – surprises and tiny gifts that will make a major impact for good.

Netanyahu offers to release 400 more Palestinian prisoners to extend peace talks ...

Prisoner Release Delayed
as Peace Talks Near Crisis
“Pray for the peace of
Jerusalem.” (Psalm 122:6)
Israel placed on hold the fourth and final set of 26
Palestinian prisoners scheduled for release by March 29 due
to rumors that Palestinian negotiators would walk
out on peace talks just after the prisoners were released.
Several of those prisoners have committed
terrorist crimes against Israelis.
The prisoner release was part of the deal negotiated
last August that restarted the as of yet fruitless US-led
peace negotiations between the Israelis and Palestinians.
As part of that deal, the
prisoners were to be released in stages to ensure that
Palestinians continue with the negotiations.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
described the peace talks as "verging on a crisis."
"Either it will be finalized, or it will blow
up," said Netanyahu of the talks, which are set to expire
at the end of April—unless the Palestinians agree
to Israel's requested renewal.
(Wall Street Journal)
(Wall Street Journal)
"In any case, there will not be a deal without
clarification of the compensation Israel will receive, and
if there is a deal it will be brought for cabinet approval,"
he said. (Haaretz)
"If the Palestinians are saying that at the end of the
nine-month period, 'That's
the end of the talks, and we'll go into a diplomatic
mode of confrontation,' that makes it
difficult for us,'' an Israeli official said, according to
The Wall Street Journal. "Why would we do it?''
US Secretary of State John Kerry and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu look out over Jerusalem.
To encourage the Palestinians to extend the deadline six
months past April 29 and not seek statehood in a unilateral
action at the United Nations, the Israeli
government and US Secretary of State John Kerry have
offered to release an additional 400 prisoners without
blood on their hands, with Israel deciding which prisoners
to release.
As well, government construction outside the main
settlement blocs in Judea and Samaria would be restrained. (Israel
HaYom)
Palestinian Authority officials responded to the offer
by demanding that
Israel release 1,000 additional prisoners of PA
choosing, as well as freeze settlement
construction, and transfer specified areas of Area C to PA
control.
Area C, the part of the West Bank under full Israeli
control, is where all of the Jewish settlements are located.
Israeli Economy Minister Naftali Bennett and his Jewish
Home party, along with much of the Likud, have called for
annexation of this area to Israel.
Yesterday, Abbas announced that the documents for
petitioning the UN for further recognition had been
signed.
"The Palestinian leadership has unanimously approved a
decision to seek membership of 15 UN agencies and
international treaties, beginning with the Fourth Geneva
Convention," Abbas said.
In this 2011 United Nations map of Judea and
Samaria (West Bank), the dark and light blue areas
are Area C; the beige sections are Areas A and B.
Israel's "confidence measures" have thus far released
a number of mass murderers and convicted criminals to the
PA as part of a United States-brokered deal. (Jerusalem
Post)
The release of those murderers has been a painful
concession for Israelis, and many were stunned by
Netanyahu’s proposal that another 400 prisoners be released.
"The pain and
shock we experienced yesterday was unbearable; we felt
the government was spitting in our faces
and that our struggle to stop prisoner releases for nine
months has meant nothing to them,” Lizi Hameiri, a member of
the Almagor Terror Victims Association said. (DW)
"Justice and moral value come before politics. Peace
shouldn't be reached at the expense of a victim's blood,"
Meir Endor of Almagor said. "Terrorist should serve their
time all the way." (AFP)

Self-Cleaning Solar
Panels Increase Energy Production in Israel
“I will make you into a
great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name
great, and you will be a blessing.” (Genesis 12:2)
One of the ways that God is fulfilling His
promise that Israel will be a blessing to the world is
through its advances in technology, science and other
innovations.
As the world energy demands continue to grow, solar
power represents a promising alternative.
However, the
efficiency of solar panels is reduced by dirt and grime.
Enter the world’s first self-cleaning solar park in
Israel’s Arava Valley, where every night 100
Israeli-built robots clean off dusty PV panels using
a soft microfiber combined with airflow, increasing
production by as much as 35% at Kibbutz Ketura.
The Negev Desert, where the above solar trough is located, and the
surrounding area, including the Arava Valley, has become the center of
the Israeli solar industry.
These robots, themselves solar-powered, represent a real
solution for solar energy farms, most of which are located
in the wide open spaces of deserts where the sun is strong,
the dust is everywhere, and water is scarce.
The robotic cleaning method has added an
additional 9 million kilowatt hours of electricity per
year to the plant. (Times of Israel)
Israel is so committed to green energy that the Knesset
(the Israeli Parliament) itself is going sunny-side up, with
some 4,500 square meters of solar panels to be installed on
its roof. The panels are expected to reduce the Knesset`s
consumption of electricity and gas by a third.
"The solar array on the Knesset`s roof will be the
largest among those installed in parliaments around the
world,” Knesset Speaker Yuli-Yoel Edelstein
recently said. "Currently, the largest solar array is
situated on the roof of the Bundestag and it covers 3,600
square meters. From Zion shall
come the Torah of renewable energy. I believe that
if we will be at the forefront of the effort to initiate and
implement green energy solutions, we will be able to once
again become a 'Light Unto the Nations.'”

Israel Marks the 35th
Anniversary of the Peace Treaty With Egypt
"In that day five cities
in Egypt will speak the language of Canaan and swear
allegiance to the Lord Almighty." (Isaiah 19:18)
Last Wednesday, on the 35th
anniversary of the Israel-Egypt peace treaty,
the Israel State Archives declassified and published online
67 documents, 18 of them in English, including telegrams and
letters, as well as records of conversations and government
meetings.
They tell the tale of Israel's first set of negotiations
with Egypt (perhaps since the Exodus) and the peace treaty
signed on the White House lawn by Israeli Prime Minister
Menachem Begin and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat on March
26, 1979.
"Let there be no more wars or bloodshed between Arabs
and Israelis. ...Let no young man waste his life on a
conflict from which no one benefits. Let us work together
until the day comes when they beat their swords into
plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks," Sadat said.
“What we have achieved up till now is no less
than a miracle…. The hand of God is in what has been
achieved,” US President Jimmy Carter told Begin.
The Triple Handshake: Prime Minister Menachem Begin, US President
Jimmy Carter and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat after the signature of
the Israel-Egypt peace treaty in Washington.
In their talks, Begin and Sadat settled a dispute
between Egypt and Israel over regional oil reserves and
uprooted Israeli communities from the Sinai Peninsula.
“With a pained
heart, but with head held high, I am submitting this
proposal,” Begin told the cabinet when
he presented the agreement on September 24, 1979. “Why with
a pained heart? Because we fought every possible fight for
these [Sinai] settlements … but I concluded that it’s better
this way than to leave the settlers, with all the pain in my
heart and deep sadness.”
Egypt also placed familiar pressure on Israel to freeze
construction in Judea and Samaria (West Bank). (Israel
Hayom)
"No prime minister of Israel could ever agree to such a
commitment," Begin said.
Menachem Begin, Jimmy Carter, and Anwar Sadat
In a piece that compared and contrasted today's
Israel-Palestinian Authority talks with the Israeli-Egyptian
peace talks, Al-Monitor columnist Mazal Mualem said that
Begin and Sadat dedicated "themselves to the peace process
and succeeded in conducting a personal and direct dialogue
based on mutual respect."
According to Mualem, that mutual respect is
missing in the current negotiations.
"None of that exists between Netanyahu and Abbas. There
is a gaping chasm separating them," Mualem wrote.
“The current talks between Israel and the Palestinians
will not end in a permanent agreement or even a framework
agreement, for that matter," she predicted.
However, there is reason to hope as the Israel State Archives
reveal that negotiations between Israel and Egypt did
not go smoothly. At one point, Sadat
even broke off the talks when he was offended by a public
rejection on the part of Israel of his request for a gesture
of goodwill in Sinai.
“The ceremony on the White House lawn, broadcast live to
the entire world, barely hinted at the dramas of
the previous months,” the Israel State Archive
website states. “The negotiations overcame many obstacles
before they reached their goal. Frequently it seemed that
they would fail, and the area would return to the era of
conflict and bloodshed its inhabitants knew so well.”

Meanwhile, a prominent former member of an
Egyptian Islamist terrorist group, Al-Gama'a Al-Islamiyya,
recently declared that it isn't Israel that is preventing
peace, but the Palestinian leadership.
Dr. Tawfik Hamid, now a Senior Fellow and Chair for the
Study of Islamic Radicalism at the Potomac Institute for
Policy Studies, said that the leadership’s “barbaric
attitude towards Jews” was responsible for them not
responding to Israel’s repeated overtures of peace.
"You have one million Arabs living in Israel with the
Jews, and they are not suffering like the Arabs who are
actually controlled by Arabs" elsewhere in the Middle East,
he said.
"To be honest, you have to say that the suffering of the
Palestinians is because of their leadership and the wrong
decisions of leaders like Hamas, not Israel," he stated. "The moment the Palestinian
leadership stops its arrogance and its barbaric attitude
towards the Jews then you will see that things will
change and you will see that no Palestinian will be
suffering there."

Hungarian Jews Boycott
State's Holocaust Remembrance
"There is no doubt that
this persecution of Jews in Hungary and their expulsion
from enemy territory is probably the greatest and most
horrible crime ever committed in the whole history of
the world." (Winston Churchill, July 11, 1944)
Hungary’s Jewish community is boycotting state
ceremonies marking the 70th anniversary of the Holocaust to
protest the Hungarian government's efforts to downplay
Hungary’s role in the World War II atrocities against
millions of Jews and others.
"They decided to erect a monument depicting the
German occupation, which suggests that all Hungarians were
victims, neglecting the fact that the Jewish community was
subject to a much greater danger," the president
of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Hungary Andras
Heisler said. (Israel Hayom)
Yad Vashem, the Israeli Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem,
said that the House of Terror Museum in Budapest developed
its Holocaust-memorial museum "without
any genuine, substantial involvement of the
representatives of the Hungarian Jewish community."
Jewish women are captured in Budapest, Hungary in October 1944.
Today, it is just as important as yesterday that
countries come to grips with their part in the Holocaust, as
well as the anti-Semitism that has never ceased and is once
again on the rise. Not only that, many today no longer find
it shocking or distasteful.
For instance, recently in the United States, the White
House expressed "disappointment" when Saudi Arabia
denied a visa to the only Jewish American attempting to
cover President Barack Obama's visit to the Middle East.
(Commentary Magazine)
As well, last Thursday in France, a Jewish teacher from Paris
was cornered and pressed to the wall by three men who
beat his chest and face, breaking his nose.
They also cursed him in Arabic, calling him a "dirty Jew,"
and drew a swastika on his chest with a black marker.
Only when a passerby approached them did the attackers
run away.
Arie Bensemhoun, president of the Jewish community of
Toulouse, France, said Judaism can no longer be
openly practiced in France without fear.
"I encourage the younger people to make aliyah
[immigrate to Israel] or go elsewhere, where they can thrive
in open Judaism, emancipated and without constantly fearing
over what tomorrow will bring," he said.
"My eyes will watch over
them for their good, and I will bring them back to this
land. I will build them up and not tear them down; I will
plant them and not uproot them." (Jeremiah 24:6)
A concrete Gaza-Israel tunnel designed to inflict terror in Hamas' war
against Israel was recently discovered. Such tunnels are likely built
under the guidance of engineering experts.
Fourth Concrete
Gaza-Israel Tunnel Discovered
An Israeli farmer recently spotted the latest
and longest-yet concrete tunnel from Hamas territory into
Israel.
It was the fourth found in the last 18 months.
The find occurred after heavy rains washed away the
topsoil that concealed the concrete structure, which reaches
almost half a mile (700 meters) into Israel.
An online statement made by Ezzeddeen Al-Qassam Brigades
Information Office said that the find was not a major loss
since "this tunnel is old and it was partially collapsed."
It also emphasized
"pride for the resistance men stationed underground and
on the ground who prepared to defend their people and
their cause until Palestinians get the victory.”
However, the Israel Defense Forces reported finding
tools, generators and additional equipment, indicating that
it had been used very recently.
(YouTube capture)
The Jerusalem Post reported that the tunnel was
built with about 24,000 concrete slabs delivered from
Israel by the Israel Defense Forces "to ease the crisis in
the civilian construction sector."
"The tunnels we are
inaugurating today are the new Hamas strategy in the war
against Israel—the strategy of the
tunnels," said Hamas head Ismail Haniya last Sunday. "From
below ground and above ground, you, the Occupiers, will be
dismissed.… What the resistance forces are preparing
secretly for the next confrontation with Israel is beyond
imagination for Israel.”
Israel Defense Forces regards the threat represented by
tunnels as serious, since they continue to be the staging
grounds for future ambushes, kidnappings, and more.
“If as a result of an attack by fifty Hamas combats
coming out of the tunnels, twenty-five people, among them
children, will get killed in one of the Israeli villages
close to the borders, that is going to be an event that will
strike the Israeli society in shock,” an Israeli military
personnel said. (Time)
Gilad Shalit (middle) is an Israel soldier who was abducted by Hamas
militants in a cross-border raid via underground tunnels on June 25,
2006. He was held captive for over five years, until his release on
October 18, 2011 as part of a prisoner exchange deal. In the above
photo, he is greeted by his father (right) and Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu as he is returned to Israel.
In 2013, three other tunnels were discovered.
"The operational assumption is that Hamas and
other terror organizations continue to tunnel and prepare
points of attack against Israel and its civilians,"
said IDF spokesman Lt. Col. Peter Lerner.
Tunnels are not the only day-to-day threat Israelis
face. Last Tuesday, the IDF found two explosives against
the security fence on the border with Gaza. They defused
the bombs before they could cause damage.
The current news events certainly seem to indicate
that we are racing toward the end-time finishing line
Just this week gay marriages in England are being
applauded worldwide and recently the Pope gave the green
light for people to "do as they wish" in the spirit of
"compromise," but certainly not in the Spirit of the Lord.
The Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) is grieved. The
increase of evil is growing - along with climate change,
famines, earthquakes, wars, floods.......
Time is so short and according to the Messianic
prophecy, and even the rabbis, soon we will see the
Messiah riding on the clouds of heaven.
"In those days Judah will be
saved and Jerusalem will live in safety. This is the
name by which it will be called: The LORD Our
Righteous Savior." (Jeremiah 33:16)
