Obama and Secretary Sibellius have perpetrated yet another enormous lie and the nation has apparently fallen for it!
"We anticipate that 7 million Americans will apply for the Affordable Healthcare Plans by 03/31/2014."
Hmm...Let's do some thinking...
There are 300 million citizens in the U.S.A.. We were told that Obamacare was necessary in order to provide health insurance coverages for 40 million uninsured people.
Now, compare the numbers who enrolled, paid or not, to the 40 million uninsured...
Before you arrive at an answer you must consider several things. How many were forced to enroll due to their Plans cancelling them due to Obamacare terms? How many of the previously uninsured were qualified for MEDICAID and required nothing to gain insurance coverages? How many of the previously uninsured actually enrolled. Remember, we were told that there were 40 million begging for coverages.
Do the math and with a little common-sense you will learn that 7 million new enrollees just doesn't cut it! Even 14 million enrollees would be a failure!
Truthfully, if 40 million previously uninsured had enrolled and another 5 million that had their insurance cancelled, due to Obamacare, then there might be a chance, however small, to see some success attributable to Obamacare. The problem is that just over 6 million have enrolled and we don't know the number who have actually paid nor do we know the actual costs of the subsidies given.
Another unknown is the number of Illegal Aliens that have enrolled and been given subsidies! That, in itself, is another story.
In truth, Obamacare is a monumental failure that cannot be repaired. Both Obama and Harry Reid know this to be factual and do not care!
