Israeli special forces seized an
arsenal of weapons buried in the cargo hold of a ship after intelligence
sources exposed the shipment allegedly arranged by Iranian leadership
to attack Israel.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cited the weapons capture and thwarted attack as evidence of Iran’s true intentions.
I believe that the Obama administration’s brokered deal with Iran is misguided and a danger to our own national security, the security of Israel – and the world at large.

Israeli commandos seized a Panamanian flagged cargo ship in the Red Sea carrying a cache of missiles, mortar shells and bullets. Prime Minister Netanyahu asserts the weapons were being smuggled by Iran’s Islamic regime into Gaza and intended to “rain down on the heads of Israel’s citizens.”
While exposing the massive amount of weaponry, PM Netanyahu blasted the international communities’ “self deception” and “hypocrisy” regarding the assessment of Iran’s intentions.
Iran, a brutal regime, has not
abandoned its deep involvement in terrorism, its systematic efforts to
undermine peace and security throughout the Middle East and its ambition
to destroy the state of Israel.
What is new is not Iran's deeds or its lies, but the desire of many in the international community to bury their heads in the sand.
Just as Iran hid its deadly missiles in the belly of this ship, Iran is hiding its actions and its intentions in many of its key installations for developing nuclear weapons.
“The ship was organized by Iran, dispatched by Iran, financed by Iran. The missiles were loaded by Iran, in Iran and as usual Iran denies these facts.
My message today is simple: those engaged in self-deception must waken from their slumber. We cannot allow Iran to continue building nuclear weapons.

The Prime Minister’s message is a slam against the Obama administration’s brokered deal between Iran and six other world powers, in which the regime curbed some nuclear activities in return for limited relief from sanctions.
Netanyahu has decried the agreement as a “very bad deal.”

Last week, the Prime Minister addressed the Iranian problem to the American Israeli Political Action Committee (AIPAC), pointing out that Iran is seeking to obtain Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) it intends to direct to the United States.
“ ICBMs can cross vast oceans… And
the important point to make is this: Iran's missiles can already reach
Israel, so those ICBMs that they're building, they're not intended for
us.”
Behind smiling faces, Iran is
building a nuclear program capable of reaching the United States. The
U.S. needs to stop being naive about Iran’s intentions and put pressure
on Iran to prevent this terrorist regime from further developing a

P.S. Iran is not to be trusted.
In light of growing international pressure, including a rumored boycott against Israel, I believe it is time that we once again “Stand with Israel” in spite of the Obama administration’s incoherent Middle East policies, rhetoric, and backhanded threats.
We honor Israel as our greatest and most trusted friend and ally in the region.
