Oh Christmas Tree, oh Christmas Tree

with you Christmas has always been celebrated

now you’re under attack

and by secular progressives ohhhhh how you are hated!

You have never brought me

anything but joy

I have loved you

ever since I was a little boy,

 

Who

in their right mind could resent

a tree that brings

beauty, light and loads of presents,

 

Bicycles, baseball mitts, baby dolls

and sleigh sleds

now Christmas Tree the secular progressives want tradition broken

and they don’t even want your name to be spoken,

 

Oh Tree covered with candy canes,

Christmas bulbs and light

a special time when people give

you fill children’s hearts - with delight,

Jesus never taught anything but love

and Christmas Tree you are part

of His birthday joy

bringing gifts to every little girl and boy,

  

The Christmas tree is the sign of eternal life

you remind us of the virgin birth

when God’s Son

came to earth,

Who by a symbol of love

could be annoyed?

who could hate

what so many good people have enjoyed?

Nasty liberal Grinchs want to destroy America’s Christian heritage and traditions

this is without a doubt their aim,

did you know Christmas Tree that they have actually changed your name?

“Political Correctness” doesn’t want you

to be called a  Christmas Tree any longer

 liberal insanity

is getting ever stronger,

 

Now they call you a “Holiday Tree”

just one more liberal abortion

and of the truth

a total distortion,

We really need to get a grip,

and on reality get a handle

if the Christmas Tree is a “Holiday tree”

then the menorah needs to be called the “ holiday candles,”

Someone tell me,

give me the reason

why in America, “Merry Christmas”

has become” Happy Holiday Season”?

“Happy Chanukah” I think is great

and the festival of lights I celebrate

but how can to say, “Merry Christmas” be a crime?

liberals would like to make celebrating Christmas a felony and see Christians do time,

 

On the North Pole it must give

Santa Claus the blues

the only place on TV we can hear, “Merry Christmas” regularly

is on “Fox News”

The small town Christmas Parade

is now the “winter festival”

we’re celebrating Christ’s birth

not the rotation of the earth,

 We have same sex marriage

and gay rights

but let’s kill joy

and put out the Christmas lights?

The “War on Christmas” will not be won

because the “Christmas Haters” wage war on God’s Son

Jesus is the reason for the season!

just exactly that
