single-handedly changing, delaying, speeding-up etc. many aspects of
ObamaCare. If this horrid bill is allowed to remain on the books, who can
say with any real confidence that he will not change your policy in the
near future to obtain even more of your assets, take away more of your

blog showing that there are currently far too few Americans working in
construction: while there are 185,000 more construction jobs this year, there
are still 1.9 million fewer than the previous peak high -- in April
2006.
Clearly, there is not a
labor shortage, but a jobs shortage. Any immigration reform that gives work
permits to illegal aliens, most of whom being low-skilled, would devastate
Americans in this industry. Congress needs to pass legislation that puts more
construction workers back to work, not legislation to add more construction

I simply cannot understand why people continue to say there's a
"labor shortage." This simply isn't the case! No industry in
America has a labor shortage. In the construction industry, there are 1.9
million fewer jobs than there were in April 2006. If we're short of
anything, it's jobs. I urge you to support legislation to put
Americans back to work. However, please oppose efforts to keep Americans out of
work, such as comprehensive immigration reform. Bills such as this will only
bring in millions of foreign workers when we don't need them and millions of
Americans will wind up unemployed.
