SENIORS ARE IN OBAMA'S CROSSHAIR SIGHTS- MIDICARE BEING HARSHLY DEFUNDED

One of the ways Obama is funding his "Affordable" Care Act is by gutting the Medicare Advantage program -- a lifeline for many seniors.

According to Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), who is fighting vigorously to defund and delay ObamaCare because he anticipates his own mother will be seriously harmed under the President's plan:

"You are going to see benefit reductions in Medicare for people under Medicare Advantage. You could potentially, in some place in the country see carriers drop out of the Medicare Advantage."

Rubio, as well as many Americans who have elderly parents and relatives, fear skyrocketing out-of-pocket costs and diminished benefits.

"I'm deeply concerned," says one Grassfire team member whose relative requires expensive cancer treatments. "She relies on Medicare to help cover the costs of the monthly treatments. If there's a reduction or elimination of these life-saving benefits, I'm not sure what will happen."

Today, seniors don't know how the reductions will impact them. In fact, even administrators aren't certain and are hesitant to predict the fallout of ObamaCare.

"Right now, the carriers are under a gag order by the Department [of Health and Human Services]. They're not allowed to inform their clients -- their patients of that," says Rubio. "But the chances are that soon [seniors] will open up the mail to bad news that your Medicare Advantage has been changed in a negative way."
