And the Washington Examiner reports that Barack Obama "was actively involved in the decision to grant this waiver" and that he met in "closed-door" sessions with Senators last week prior to making the decision.
So... are they telling us that engaging in covert ILLEGAL acts is no big deal... but actually defunding this monster is impossible?

"Ted Cruz: I Need a 'Grassroots Army' To Defund ObamaCare."
That's the headline that is appearing all over the Internet. Senator Ted Cruz is calling on America's grassroots conservative activists to rise up against ObamaCare... and it's a call to arms that we must heed.

Barack Obama isn't even fighting that hard against the demands to defund ObamaCare, because, frankly, he doesn't need to fight hard. Unfortunately, establishment Republicans - many who secretly appear to want ObamaCare implemented - are doing it for him.
You may have noticed, since you started flooding Congress with your Blast Faxes and calls, the fussing from Republican elites has grown progressively louder. The Empire Is Striking Back.
You hear them on the talk shows advancing their false and deceptive narrative more and more with each passing day: 'Oh no... It would be irresponsible and foolish to shut down the government over ObamaCare.'
They may as well be saying: 'As long as Barack Obama threatens to shut down the government, give him EVERYTHING he wants. Our ability to squander your hard-earned money must not be abated for even an hour.'

And Just For The Record...
Cruz and his allies who are drawing a line in the sand aren’t even talking about shutting down the government.
If Congress submits a spending resolution to Barack Obama that defunds ObamaCare, Barack Obama will then have a choice.
He can either do what the American people want and jettison ObamaCare, or he can draw his own line in the sand and shut down the government.
And if Barack Obama chooses to shut down the government rather than abandon his precious government takeover of health care, we say bring it on... and we're not alone.
A recent poll commissioned by Tea Party Patriots indicates that Americans (not just Republicans, but all Americans) actually support a temporary shutdown of the government to stop the implementation of ObamaCare by a margin of 48-39 percent.
And numbers don't lie. The American people know the truth. The American people know that this shutdown narrative is a public relations canard from power-hungry Washington elites – including many in the GOP – who are not serious about defunding or repealing ObamaCare.
As radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh recently said: "I don't think they were ever serious about repealing health care, the Republicans. I don't think they ever were. I think that it has been lip service from the get-go."
No more lip service... ObamaCare must never be implemented and that's the message we need to send to Washington right here and right now. Let's make it clear... NO FUNDING FOR OBAMACARE... PERIOD.

ObamaCare for Thee, But Not for Me...
We don't need to tell you that ObamaCare is bad for you. We don't need to tell you that it's bad for the country. We don't need to tell you that jobs will be lost, the cost of your health care will spike and the quality of your health care will go down the toilet.
And our elected officials know it too.
That's why they, yet again, worked to secure waivers for themselves and their staff from parts of ObamaCare that would have impacted them most.
As reported this week in The Daily Caller: "Members of Congress and Hill staffers will not lose their health-care subsidies from the government when Obamacare is implemented because of an exception proposed Wednesday by the Office of Personnel Management."
In other words, everyday Americans will watch their health care premiums skyrocket because of ObamaCare, but Members of Congress and their staff made sure that their taxpayer subsidies stayed intact, despite language in ObamaCare to the contrary.
Well, what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. If elected officials in Washington and Big Labor should be exempt from ObamaCare, then everyone should be exempt from this economy-killing monster.
