CONSERVATIVE ACTION ALERTS 05/20/2013

IRS Criminals
“More heads need to roll.” Those were the words of Florida Representative Vern Buchanan after IRS Commissioner Steve Miller announced on Wednesday evening that he is stepping-down. If Obama thinks that one man’s resignation will “fix” the IRS and its unconstitutional attacks on the First Amendment, he is wrong. We know that Miller’s dismissal was simply an act of theatrics – Obama’s cheap appeasement offering – because we know that Miller was planning on exiting the IRS long before this scandal ever came to the surface. The simple fact is this: a scandal this big is not the result of one or two persons – it is the result of the collaborative efforts of many of the Internal Revenue Service’s employees.

The Abortion Alternative
With the convictions in the case against abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell – three counts of murdering live babies and one count of involuntary manslaughter – abortion is back in the national discussion. It’s pretty clear from the Grand Jury report that, during Gosnell’s thirty plus year career, he likely murdered hundreds, if not thousands of babies. But because of the difficulty in documenting it all, he was just convicted of three. Reports now are coming in from around the nation indicating that more Gosnells are out there.
