Majority Leader Harry Reid said that he intends for the U.S. Senate to decide a bill, beginning tomorrow, that would allow states to force online retailers to collect sales taxes on their behalves … regardless of the retailer’s physical location. Sen. Paul Issues Letter to Majority Leader Reid Regarding Consideration of Immigration Bill  Sen. Rand Paul today issued a letter to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid urging him to incorporate various national security concerns into the comprehensive immigration reform debate in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombings. Kerry promises $123 million to Syrian jihadists fighting Assad  In spite of Middle East experts and counterterrorism professionals advising government officials, including President Barack Obama, that many of the rebels fighting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime are connected to terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda and the Nusra Front, the U.S. State Department is preparing to fork over another $123 million in aid to those rebels, according to an official announcement on Saturday. Gosnell is Not an Exception  Kirsten Powers has done a national service, by virtue of her now famous USA Today column, of getting the news of the trial of abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell on the national radar screen. This of course, is the horror story of a cesspool in Philadelphia posturing as an abortion clinic, operating without inspection for 17 years.
