In an interview this morning, Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad referred to Israel’s protests about Iranian nuclear weapon development as merely “noise” to be tuned out. Curiously, President Obama used the same description of Israeli concerns (saying he will “block out any noise that is out there” in deciding Middle East policy) in a CBS news program over the weekend.
I pray you will join Liberty Counsel in taking a truly important stand with Israel – even if you have done so in our past campaigns. Please read my important update below – Mat.

At times it seems as though Israel doesn’t have a friend in the world.
Even United States’ policy in the Middle East has become equivocal – to the point that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has felt it necessary to remind a watching world that Israel reserves the right to act unilaterally to defend its people.
You can be sure that Iran’s intelligence analysts carefully examine every public comment made in the West concerning Israel and their own country…especially statements from the U.S. State Department and the administration.
So when Iran’s President Ahmadinejad characterizes Israel’s statements as just so much “noise” a few hours after our President uses that same term to describe Israel’s concerns, it is no mere coincidence.

On several of my visits with senior Israeli officials during our Liberty Ambassador Counsel trips, I have been able to personally tell of the support of tens of thousands of Americans who take exception to the ambivalent tone of U.S. policy statements concerning Israel and the Middle East.
That’s why I know your personal statement of support will mean so much! I have seen firsthand the depth of appreciation our many contacts in Israel exhibit when reassured in this special way.
Your support for Israel matters! It makes a great difference in the minds and hearts of our friends in Israel and, more importantly, it matters to God!

Recent turbulent events in the Middle East are taking place at a time when Israel is carefully weighing its options, including preemptively bombing Iranian nuclear facilities if the international community refuses to draw a “red line” on Iran’s building of atomic weapons.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently said that Iran is merely months away from achieving the next phase in the development of nuclear weapons.
We all know that President Ahmadinejad is desperate to achieve nuclear weapons status and will stop at nothing to get it. His stated first order of business as a nuclear power: Destroy the big and little “Satans,” the United States and Israel.
Other Iranian and Islamic leaders, including the Muslim Brotherhood, have frequently called for Israel’s destruction and Iran openly supports several militant anti-Israel organizations.
The bottom line: We MUST steadfastly stand and show solidarity with Israel!
This is a strategic time for the nation of Israel and its leaders – a time which will have eternal significance for the Jewish people and every other nation in the world. I am once again calling on ALL of our Liberty Counsel friends to stand up for Israel and be counted!

Here's an undeniable fact from Scripture: When rulers or nations rise up against Israel, they become accursed! The Bible clearly states that the Middle East is at the center of coming world events and promises GREAT blessings to those who stand with Israel in those perilous times!

P.S. While Islamic radicals foment hatred and bloody violence throughout the Middle East, the dismissive claim by the President of Iran that Israel’s concerns are mere “noise” to be dismissed further incites the Muslim community to rise up against Jews everywhere – especially in Israel.
