ELECTION FRAUD PROMOTED BY HOLDER, OBAMA, ACORN

to Facilitate Voter Fraud

You remember the rampant fraud exposed during the 2008 elections involving Barack Obama's favorite "community organizing" group ACORN and other groups on the radical left.
Did you think that ACORN's election-related mischief - and that of its allies - was a thing of the past? Well, not so fast...
Judicial Watch, an organization that exposes and prosecutes government corruption, has been investigating a cozy relationship between Obama's Justice Department and the ACORN-connected leftist group Project Vote.
The goal of this cozy partnership? To threaten and intimidate states to register as many individuals on public assistance as possible to vote in the 2012 elections.
Of course, it's no coincidence that voters on the government dole are widely considered a key voting demographic for Obama in November.
New records recently obtained by Judicial Watch from a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit reveal just how deeply in cahoots Obama's DOJ and Project Vote are. The documents detail extensive communications and coordination between DOJ and Estelle Rogers, a former ACORN attorney and currently the Director of Advocacy for Project Vote.
According to Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton,

"As Director of Advocacy for Project Vote, Rogers - a former attorney for ACORN, which was besieged with charges of corruption and fraud before declaring bankruptcy in November 2010 - is a primary contact person on policy matters at Project Vote on both state and federal levels and has been actively involved in voter registration issues."

Author and columnist J. Christian Adams, who formerly served in the Voting Rights Section at the U.S. Department of Justice, detailed the cozy relationship between Roger's Project Vote and Obama's DOJ in an article published on BigGovernment.com:

"Project Vote appears to be directing DOJ resources toward particular states; is having meetings with DOJ staff; and is even recommending lawyers to work in the Justice Department Voting Section that will oversee the 2012 presidential election."

The American people are fed up with Obama's failed big-government, Socialist policies. And it appears the administration is willing to pull out all the stops leading up to the 2012 elections.
It's time to put an end to the election tampering right here and right now!

As if colluding with ACORN-connected leftist groups wasn't enough, Obama Attorney General Eric Holder last month announced a politically driven DOJ campaign to investigate and block efforts by state legislatures designed to help ensure the integrity of the ballot box.
Specifically, Holder's beef is with commonsense state VOTER ID laws, which require voters to show photo identification before casting their ballot.
Despite the fact that Voter ID laws are effective in helping to stop mischief such as dead people voting, votes being cast by illegals, individuals casting multiple ballots in other people's names and other documented voter fraud, Holder is advancing the bogus and politically motivated claim that such laws discriminate against minorities.
Never mind the fact that, as National Review reported recently:

"Voter-ID laws have been in place in Georgia and Indiana for more than five years, and none of the hysterical claims made by opponents have materialized. As NRO has documented, turnout of minority voters did not decrease in those states -- it increased significantly." [emphasis ours]

Never mind the fact that the number of people who claim not to possess a valid ID is miniscule. As the Heritage Foundation's Mike Brownfield recently pointed out:

"An American University survey in Maryland, Indiana, and Mississippi found that less than one-half of 1 percent of registered voters lacked a government-issued ID, and a 2006 survey of more than 36,000 voters found that only '23 people in the entire sample-less than one-tenth of one percent of reported voters' were unable to vote because of an ID requirement."

Never mind the fact that, as noted by Heritage's Senior Legal Fellow Hans von Spakovsky, "every state that has passed a voter ID law has also ensured that the very small percentage of individuals who do not have a photo ID can easily obtain one for free if they cannot afford one."
With the election season heating up, and with Obama's support dwindling with each passing day, the Obama-Holder Justice Department has chosen to set aside the facts and block states from ensuring the integrity of the elections.
And just in case you thought Holder was all bark and no bite, the Obama-Holder Justice Department blocked implementation of South Carolina's VOTER ID law just days before Christmas and mere weeks before the state's primary.

Despite claims by the liberal mainstream media that voter fraud is a nonexistent problem - including most recently by the New York Times and Washington Post - evidence and real-world examples demonstrate that voter fraud is all too common and frequent in our great nation today - from using the names of the recently deceased to paying homeless people to vote.
Just last year, ACORN pled guilty to voter registration fraud in Nevada regarding the group's illegal activities during the 2008 elections. ACORN also was alleged to have committed similar fraud in other states.
Then there is this bit of news that the liberal mainstream media has chosen to ignore. According to a December 16 Fox News report:

"The Democratic presidential primary petitions that put then-candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on the 2008 primary ballot in Indiana are the focus of a criminal investigation. There are allegations that numerous signatures and names on the petitions were forged, so many in fact, that questions have been raised as to whether now-President Obama even qualified with enough legal signatures to get on the primary ballot in the first place."

Even retired liberal Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens understands the severity of the problem. In a majority opinion upholding the constitutionality of Indiana's VOTER ID law, Justice Stevens, a former anti-corruption lawyer from Chicago, wrote:

"That flagrant examples of [voter] fraud...have been documented throughout this Nation's history by respected historians and journalists...demonstrate[s] that not only is the risk of voter fraud real but that it could affect the outcome of a close election."

It's no wonder that 70% of likely voters believe voters should be required to show photo ID before voting, according to a recent Rasmussen Reports survey.
Yet instead of acknowledging the very real problem, heeding the will of the American people and working to ensure the integrity of our elections...
...The Obama-Holder Justice Department has decided to embark on a politically motivated campaign to BLOCK any and all commonsense efforts to combat voter fraud in the 2012 elections, while at the same time working with ACORN-connected groups to stack the deck in Obama's favor leading up to November.
