CALL AND WRITE CONGRESS DEMANDING THAT THIS NONSENSE BE STOPPED

IMMIGRATION OFFICERS PRESSURED TO RUSH VISAS, EVEN FRAUDULENT ONES

The Office of the Inspector General reported that top officials within U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services are pressuring rank-and-file officers to quickly approve illegal immigrants’ visa applications, sometimes “against their will.”

Even  more alarming is that these officials are saying that the pressure to approve such questionable cases began when the Obama administration appointed Alejandro Mayorkas as director in 2009, when he brought the mantra “get to yes” to the agency.

Approximately, 64 out of 254 officers surveyed by the Officer of the Inspector General said they have been pressured to approve questionable cases – cases often indicative of fraud or having other security or eligibility concerns. Those who refuse to fall in line are known to have been demoted or given the choice between demotion or relocation.

Supervisors are also accused of violating agency rules by taking cases away from unwilling officers and assigning them to someone else.
