TAKE A STAND ON ENERGY PRODUCTION HERE AT HOME!

Dear Conservatives,

Let’s face it, the U.S. economic recovery has been very slow…but in New York, there is reason for hope. New York sits atop the Marcellus Shale formation and has an opportunity to create local jobs and increase clean-burning natural gas production.  

All Americans should stand up for New York energy production! 

The New York Department for Environmental Conservation (DEC) recently completed an environmental report that, if finalized, would allow new natural gas drilling. The DEC is currently accepting public comment on the issue and we need every Energy Citizen to speak up. 

The issue is simple: natural gas production is good for all Americans—and so all Americans should have a voice. Tell the DEC and Governor Cuomo that natural gas production: 

• Will create well-paid construction, energy, and other jobs.
• Has the promise of lowering energy costs for consumers.
• Can be done safely.

Take action now and tell the DEC and New York’s Governor to allow natural gas production in New York State.
