TELL OBAMA TO 'REIN IN' DOJ AND ADHERE TO U.S. CONSTITUTION AND PROTECT AMERICA!

Border Sheriffs - Next Stop The Supreme Court
Sheriff Larry Dever and Border Sheriffs Need Your Help
to Tell Their Story to The Supreme Court

Friends, we are nearing the final hurdlein our legal battle to uphold the will of the people and enforce Arizona’s badly needed immigration law.
And this final hurdle is a big one
The U.S. Supreme Court.
I’m sending you this critical messageTODAY because at this very momentlawyers at the ACLU and the Obama Justice Department are preparing their case against us and against every good American like yourself who believes in the rule of law!

As you know, this issue is about a lot more than just whether we prevail onthis single, albeit essential measure tofinally standup where the federal government has not, and address illegal immigration in Arizona.
It is about more than that. Much more.
This is about whether or not we will letWashington surrender our Country to illegal aliens, or will we finally stand up and take matters into our own hands.

To do our part, the Sheriff’s and I will be filing what’s called an “amicus brief” with the Supreme Court. This is the best wayfor those of us on the front lines to tell our side of the story.
And we are eager to do our part.

The lack of leadership on the part of Politicians in Washington, who simplyturn a blind eye to the problem or worse, exploit illegal immigration for their own political gain, have simply left us no choice.
Now, we must bring our story, our reports from the border directly to the Supreme Court.
The nine justices who will decide this defining issue need to hear about thereal suffering of Americans in Arizona and in communities along the border.
They must be told about the economic and human costs that are the direct result of Washington’s refusal to enforce our immigration laws!
That’s why, as part of our legal effort to defend and enforce Arizona’s immigration law, we will be filing this “amicus brief”.
This will give the Border Sheriffs, who have witnessed and experienced firsthand the hardships caused by the massive influx of illegal aliens.
I hope you'll reply to this high priority message from the Border Sheriffs today with the highest level of support you can afford.
This could very well be our last, best chance to stand up and speak out in support of the Arizona immigration law.
We have depended on the support of citizens like you to keep up the fight… And now we need your continued support as we prepare to tell our story DIRECTLY TO THE SUPREME COURT.
As you read this email, our legal team continues to build our strategy to present our response to the devastating ruling of the ultra-liberal 9th Circuit Court which upheld U.S. District Judge Susan R. Bolton ruling thatprevents us from enforcing Arizona's Immigration Law!

And now that this landmark case is headed to the Supreme Court, we have a lot to say about what is going on at our country’s southern border.
But, we also have some questions for the leaders who have failed so miserably!
So, as part of our defense of the immigration law, the law that Arizona’s leaders and voters demanded and delivered while Washington, DC was asleep at the wheel
We would like to ask Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano a few questions…
For starters, how can she and her department claim with a straight face, that they have “secured operational control” of most of the southern Arizona border, at the same time a local rancher, and incidentally a friend of Sheriff Dever was MURDERED by suspected drug smugglers?
Wouldn’t you like to hear her response? Doesn’t the family of the murdered rancher and the countless other victims of violent criminals who crossed our border illegally deserve an answer?
If she even has one…
The people of Arizona acted to do what Washington refused to – stop criminals who are brutalizing our people and destroying our communities.
But before we were even able to put this law into practice, Washington chose their side in this battle...
And one year ago, on May 25, 2010, they made it clear that they had chosen the side against me, my fellow Border Sheriffs and the legal citizens of not only Arizona, but America.

That was the day they filed suit against us...

...and it wasn't very long after that when the Border Sheriffs Project contacted me and asked a simple question – "how can we help?"
Without the Border Sheriffs Project, I don't know what I'd do…

It is only because of the Border Sheriffs Project – the fact that they are able to raise money for us in the form of tax-deductible donations from good folks like you – that we now have any possibility whatsoever to take our story directly to the U.S. Supreme Court!

Barack Obama, the ACLU, Eric Holder and an army of lawyers have pouredmillions of dollars and thousands of man-hours into preventing us from doing our duty.

But we have refused to give up.
And now, as we prepare this amicus brief to the Supreme Court, our chance to tell our story, the story of the American victims of illegal immigration, we need your help…

Will you continue to stand with us by supporting the Border Sheriffs Project with a generous gift today?
Our legal team is working diligently to prepare this brief and make our case to the Supreme Court. Without this dedicated, honorable team of professionals, the Supreme Court will never hear our side of the story.
Or yours.
So please do all you can to get us in front of the Supreme Court, so we can tell them our story, for the American citizens faced with violence and economic hardship caused by illegal immigration and the communities, like yours that may be next.

Thank you again – from all of us out here on the Border.

It's really comforting knowing you are out there supporting and praying for us and our families.
