Why do muslims throw stones (pebbles) at their rock god during the hajj? Don't they also stone women? Notice the shape of the silver frame around the glistening rock. To me, the image appears to be a crowning obsidian head distending the vulva prior to final delivery. Is this the imagery of Ishmael's birth from Hagar?
