Ever since the birth of conservative talk radio and the Internet ended the liberals' total monopoly over the news, the Left has been simmering with rage - because of the loss of their absolute control over what the Americans are allowed to see and hear, and their inability to do anything about it!
Time and again, liberal attempts to sell the nation their shoddy goods have been frustrated when talk-radio hosts have taken to the airwaves and warned their millions of listeners that they were about to be taken to the cleaners.
We've derailed amnesty bills. We've fought back against stimulus spending. We've joined forces and defeated the Left at the ballot box. But now, we have gone too far for liberals. We have CATEGORICALLY REJECTED THE DISASTROUS HEALTHCARE BILL.
As a result, Obama's FCC and a flurry of liberals want to bring back the Fairness Doctrine so they can shut us up for good.

The "Fairness Doctrine" was a federal regulation enforced by the FCC, between 1949-1987, requiring broadcasters to present both sides of any "controversial" issue. Broadcasters faced hefty fines if their stations didn't provide "equal time" to opposing
viewpoints. The result was self-censorship by broadcasters who avoided politics so they could escape government interference. When Ronald Reagan ended this regulation in 1987, conservative talk radio flourished. Americans were no longer held hostage by an increasingly Left-wing mainstream media that refused to expose the lies of the Left.
It's a shame Reagan isn't here to protect us from Obama and his socialist-leaning FCC, featuring 'Diversity Czar' Mark Lloyd.
Lloyd is a Saul Alinsky radical who wants to EXPAND THE FCC and implement chilling
regulations over political commentary and advertising. His idea of 'diversity' means to PLACE A FEE on opposing views (that means he wants to levy a fine against you for speaking out as a PROUD CONSERVATIVE); and he has expressed his admiration for Hugo Chavez because he shut down all private media companies in socialist Venezuela!

The ambulances had not yet left the Tucson grocery store before defiant Liberals were taking to the airwaves to decry 'conservative' hate speech that had caused this tragedy - when, of course, this assertion had no basis in fact.

Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC) wants the Fairness Doctrine back (and Clyburn's daughter just happens to be one of the five commissioners on the FCC.) Media mouth Al Sharpton wants it back; and Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY) wants it back. She has vowed to look into 'more aggressive language monitoring.'
One supposes she is not talking about MSNBC hosts Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow when she says this. And Mark Lloyd, of course, wants it back, although he claims it never went away in the first place!
He has suggested that the Fairness Doctrine was "never formally repealed." Instead, he argues that the FCC merely announced "it would no longer enforce certain regulations under the umbrella of the Fairness Doctrine."
The Left is lining up their chess pieces. We are being targeted because Democrats are frustrated that their message is not being well-received. WE MUST TAKE ACTION NOW.
